So when I booked my vacation and put down the deposit, somehow I got listed on the list of guests as "Mr. Jennifer Bruce"!!!:scared1: Is this going to cause a problem upon check-in?:confused3

Absolutely not. You'll be fine. :)

Have a magical day.

I don't think you'll have a problem, but you might want to call and have it changed.

It's kind of funny though! Hope you have a great trip!

For your sake I hope not!! Maybe you can call and just change it in their computer system?
I kinda feel bad for my DH, I made the reservations so everything is under my name not his..... so he's gonna feel weird LOL... o well he'll get over it quick I'm sure!!

DW did this to me this time too!!! Fortunately, I think I can handle it, since last year during our Disneymoon, for some reason half of our ADRs ended up under my name and the rest under DW's maiden name. (I think a couple were under DW's new name too!) By the end of the trip, we just knew to give the CM all the possible combinations when we got to dinner!

For 2 years, they had her as a 11 years old, instead of adding 1 year in a system. Hope they did same to me. LOL

dont worry i called and booked my honeymoon trip under my maiden name...i signed in online and used my maiden name and it pulled up...i called to change something and they couldnt find it :scared1: i gave them my DF and somehow in the course of 20 minutes they managed to make him the primary guest :lmao: it doesnt matter as long as you know the last name its under and the confirmation number and you will be all set...atleast thats what i was told when i asked them how they managed to do that ( concidering DF didnt even know i booked anything yet!)

all my disney reservations have me as a Mrs.... and no matter how many times I call them to change it... I'm still apparently married in Disney's eyes :)

Thanks everyone for the quick responses. AND the laughs!!!!:lmao: I feel much better. I can always count on my fellow DISers!:goodvibes

You must have gotten the same CM as I did. All of my WDW reservations have been in MY name, with my DH listed as a guest. We use MY credit card. When I made my last reservation, changing from free dining to the room discount, somehow the CM felt that she should change the reservation to my DH's name and have me down as a guest.

I think that was really insulting, but I didn't say or do anything about it after I got the confirmation. That was the 1950's - not today :confused3

I have been SO careful to keep everything in my name, with only one e-mail address so we can hopefully get that elusive pin someday and not have to search under multiple names and numbers. Now that plan is all gone to heck!!

My DH is part-time work, part-time Mr. Mom, while I'm the full timer in the family. I told him that now he has to pay the bill :lmao:

Here's a hint from another female breadwinner: if you get your name (as the wife) put first on every financial transaction, you'll be able to tell junk mail vs. legitimate at a glance. Junk mail (like ads for mortgage insurance) always comes addressed to my DH. Anything that's legitimately related to our mortgage comes addressed to me since my name appears first on the mortgage.

Disney does have me listed first on our reservation, btw.

i am the queen of name problems. my name isn't hard. cassie. short for cassandra.

i've been the one to book all the vacations over the last 10 years (except for this upcoming trip, hubby did it). my name is in the system as cassie. i've spelled it out MANY times.

in '06 and '07 it came to cathy. i get that all the time. but really, if it pulls up as cassie and i spell it out, why cathy?:confused3

and in '07 when we'd go retrieve the packages, i ended up being cathy, carrie, and caitlyn. how that happened, i'll never know! that year one of my company's clients thought my name was cassette. :rotfl2:

so if i ever have to go into hiding, i have a long list of names to choose. lol

My last reservation somehow was made under Sister Lori XXXXXXXX. I was hysterical when I saw it (nope, I am not a nun). When I called up to change it, they said they could not see it....But when I got my confirmation, sure enough it was back to Sister....and there are no discounts for women of the cloth....I gave it a try! :lmao:

LOL, I have the same issue with my cable bill! When we moved into our new house I set up the account. The first bill arrived in my name, but has Mr. in front of it. I've called multiple times and asked them to change it to Mrs., and everytime I'm assured by the person on the other end they made the change. But almost 3 years later, it still comes incorrectly! I eventually gave up!

I get PIN codes for everyone in my family. We did a Grand Gathering back in 2006 and ever since then, I get all kinds of Disney offers addressed to my brother, myself, and even my nephew (who was 10 at the time of travel)!!!! I'm not sure why everything is coming to me because I wasn't even really the contact person, my mom was, but now I am scared to call and ask them to change it because I don't want to stop getting the offers. :rotfl2:
