I have to admit I watched this last night. Had it record on my DVR so I could fast-forward through the commercials. This has to be one of the lamest shows I've watched in a long time. It looked like it was all shot on a sound stage. If it was a real jungle it was the nicest manicured jungle I've ever seen.

Guilty - watched it too. When I found out that it was on every night I believe through Thursday, I decided that I can't commit.

Spencer & Heidi - OMG, what bratty little babies! He thinks they are some A-List stars, how dellusional!!! :scared1: He is downright pathetic!

I agree. My son pointed out how straight some of the plants grew. I loved the shine on the leaves. My favorite part was when they were competing for the chicken dinner. It was raining but somehow everyone stayed dry. How about that basket suddenly being lowered? It seemed to come out of nowhere but none of the so called celebrities were surprised.

DD14 talked me into watching it. :sad2: So sad that I'll never get that chunk of my life back.

Not only did the setting not seem genuine but every word seemed completely scripted. Ridiculous show.

We watched it also :lmao:

Spencer and Heidi (but mostly Spencer) need a serious time out. What brats!

I think Lou Diamond Phillips will win :thumbsup2

I watched a little bit bewteen it and bachlorette, I really like Lou and Stephen. I'm really shocked how religious Heidi and Spencer have became almost overnight lol.

Judging by last night's "performances", I am willing to wager we will not see the full contracted episodes...it was that bad!

I watched just a few minutes of it during the Bachelorette commercials to catch a glimpse of Mrs. Blagojevich. Completely agree that it was a studio set. And not even a good studio where it looked really like a jungle. It looked like a bad really fake studio set. After watching Survivor and seeing a real jungle that looked like the fakest of the fake.

Agreed that in just 1-2 minutes it looked SO, SO bad.

We got halfway through and couldn't watch another minute.

What a load of crap! It was so fake and "rehearsed". I love reality TV, and I love scripted television when it's actually WELL written and good. I cannot STAND scripted television that's supposed to come off looking like "reality". And it was obvious on the very first scene in the jungle that they're on a sound stage. The lighting is "off" and the props are just a little too well placed to be real. Gilligan's Island was more realistic that that...LOL

I don't know how anyone could sit through an entire episode of that crap!

I commented to DH that Spencer and Heidi had the only hammock with a roof over it. Funny how it could be pooring rain and none of the other celeb's cots got wet at all... so phony...:sad2:

I didn't watch but I did see that Spencer and Heidi "quit" the show after last night's live portion. Not sure what the live portion was but I according to E or TMZ (some celebrity rag I was reading earlier, lol) they walked off the set.

We watched the last show of the season on MTV the show "The Hills".
Heidi and Spencer's wedding was on the show.
Heidi's sister cannot stand Spencer.
They had a rehearsal dinner and Spencer's best man did a speach.
Heidi's sister got up, she was a little tipsy, but not much, because of the speech she gave.
She told everyone how glad she was that Spencer was now part of the family, since in their vows Heidi and Spencer promise for better or worse and Spencer will probably be "the part where it will definately be "for worse" and we all know everyone needs family, so life is good.
Spencer and his sister were looking at each other, like WTH!.

Spencer friend Brody had a lunch date and Spencer told him how he went to Therapy and is trying to change his ways. He knows he has an explosive temper and he feels he isn't 21 anymore and needs to treat people with respect.

We have been really busy and didn't get a chance to watch it yet. What is really sad is I watched the beginning tonight before I had to leave and I know who all fake
celebrities are! Can you have a reality show without a Baldwin brother???? I did watch the first one that Chris Judd won and am embarrased to admit I enjoyed it!

I will catch them on Hulu.

I looked for this thread, because I had to know if it is a real set. It looks so fake, and the filming itself looks so different from, say, "Survivor" - C'mon, why do we not see them "go" places! If they walked somewhere that we could see a vast land, maybe I'd believe it. I saw that hula thing and that really didn't convince me!

But...what am I doing? Yep, I'm watching it anyhow...(and, I watched it the last time too!). It's crap TV but here some of us are, watching it anyhow.

Just finished last nights episode. Now onto tonights from the DVR. It is nice to sometimes just laugh at TV.

ok so I just watched it on hulu.. OMG love how Heidi and Spencer think they are such BIG celebs. I love Lou!!!!! Ill watch this.. via hulu LMAO

I'm watching "The View" Barbara just announced that Speidi are going back to the jungle! These people are freakin' idiots!

Haven't they already lost? I thought once you quit, you lost. Isn't this a competition game? I hope they aren't allowed back- I'll be pissed for the other contestants sake.

I read that for the Brat Pratts to be allowed back on the remaining cast members must vote them back in; or, America will be doing the voting.

Hmm. Quit the show just before the voting begins for elimination. After voting ends, ask to come back on show. Repeat. Good strategy.

I am pulling for Lou Diamond. My wife and I saw him last year in The King and I. I will admit, I had seen Yul Brynner perform the role in London back in 1980. Was Lou as good? Well, probably not. But then, Lou did not try to imitate Yul but made the role his own. Lou did an excellent job.

I have also been favorably impressed by Patti. Seems like a nice person.

I have never heard of Torrie Wilson, the wrestler, but she is a knock-out.

Nor have I heard of 'Frangelas', but I do enjoy their sense of humor.

Stephen Baldwin: he is always good on these reality shows. The 'rumor' is that Daniel Baldwin is flying down to take BratBoy Pratt's place, while Holly Montag is going to take BratGirl Pratt's place.

Janice: she is always entertaining.

The basketball player (Sully?): I know nothing about him. Like him so far.

The American Idol guy: what did he do to his hair? Seems to be good on challenges.

As someone else said, I imagine that BratGirl Pratt is being paid to promote that hair product. It has been funny watching her constantly spraying her hair. I imagine that she is very jealous of Torrie.

I love Frangela! They are so funny on Best Week Ever (on VH1).

Heidi and Spencer truly are delusional wackos. :scared1: I love Heidi saying she is like Mother Teresa and that material things don't matter a few weeks after being photographed carrying a $23,000 purse. :rotfl:

Best line of the show so far was Janie Dickinson saying she didn't know she signed up for "Holly Rollers Get Me Out of Here". :lmao:

I agree that the show is silly but I'll probably keep watching anyway.
