Cos I've just put my first ever lot of contact lenses in, all by my self, for the very first time.
The right eye went in second try but the left...........well 15 minutes of blood sweat and tears later..............ok no blood.....................or sweat but there was definantly tears.

Oh you big, brave boy you

Gary says have you tried taking them out yet ;) :rotfl2:

Not allowed too for 2 hours ( they feel ok so far) practised in Specsavers and found that bit alot easier.:thumbsup2

Thanks K
I don't think I could spare 15 mins every morning.;)

keep on trying it does get easier.:thumbsup2

DH used to use the ones you remove each night, he got so good at putting them in he could even put them in on the plane with no mirror.

Now he has monthly disposable ones which he keeps in all month, day and night, but at least he can see in the morning when he wakes up:rotfl:

I was thinking of using the monthly disposable ones, they said I could but I need to master taking they in and out first. how is he getting on with them?

Well done Tony, I'm so glad I don't need them, my eyes are watering just reading about it ;)

great

he has worn contacts for 8 years and had these sort for 2 years, has to go for a free checkup every 3 months as he was one of first to use them in the U.K, but he says they are great, you can swim in them also.

I'd say get used to putting the others in and then see what the Optician says.

Cheers for that I'll give it a go.

How much are the monthly disposables?

Wow they sound good. Does his eyes ever feel dry? Does he have trouble getting them out at the end of the month? :)

cheers I'll check it out with specsavers after I've got used to they.

no problems at all really, about once during the month he uses a eye drop, but thats only if he's been somewhere dusty.

End of the month they come out as easy as anything

Well, I've just taken them out and I'm happy to report that post traumatic stress counselling won't be needed.:goodvibes

ALWAYS Happy to Snooze Kaylee.:faint:

woot :thumbsup2

I use the monthy contact lenses and find them quite comfortable. I will say that sometimes they are easy and sometimes they are not! I pulled my eye trying to take them out once :scared1: , it made me feel quite ill. Someone suggested putting eye drops in before taking them out so that they aren't so dry.
