Has anyone done this lately? I remember that a few years ago you could show up at the Worldshowcase entrance around 8:45p and gain admittance without a pass. We have friends coming into town next week and they don't have passes. We are taking them to dinner on the Boardwalk and would like to share Illuminations with them.

Thanks for the help!:D

I would like to know the answer to this as I had never heard of this before.

Last week I went just for Illuminations and had to show a ticket even though the show had already begun. (Went in the WS entrance.) Didn't run it through; but I'd been to MK earlier that day & had a hand stamp.

You can see some of the high fireworks from the bridge connecting BW & BC, but you can't hear to well.

We were at Illuminations last week also, when we were leaving AFTER the show, they were still checking tickets to get in, and nothing's is open after Illuminations.

Someone shared the tip on the Internet and too many people started showing up so they don't allow it anymore.

What we plan on doing our first evening at WDW (we're staying at the Dolphin) is walking over and just standing on the bridge near the Epcot boat entrance. It's nothing like being right there but it's the next best thing unless you want to use your pass just for that.:D

We too are going to stay at the Dolphin the night before our "1 day left on our hopper pass" use. I was wondering if we could see any of it from the Dolphin swimming pool or beach area -- or the Swan, since we can share their facilities. Anyone know?
