I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for spots to watch Illuminations while having a drink or a meal? Other than hiring a boat.

For a meal you could try and get an ADR at the Rose and Crown but not all tables have a clear outside view although you are allowed to go to the garden at the side to watch.

Cantina de San angel for QS food but people stake out those tables hours before.

Illuminations dessert party for sparkly wine and desserts.

There may be others but that's the obvious ones I can think of just now.

You can get drinks in almost every country so take your pick :thumbsup2 The grand mariner slush from the wine kiosk in France is very good or a margarita from La Cava in Mexico :p

Illuminations has better viewing locations but no where is truly terrible so we never bother to stake a spot - just catch where we happen to be :goodvibes

Tokyo Dining in Japan, you can watch from restaurant - they play the music inside or go out onto the balcony to watch :thumbsup2

Some great suggestions guys, thanks.

I'm going to have a look at the Tokyo dining. Elise79 I'm loving the idea of the different drinks, although I'll end up looking at the show through one eye methinks! :crazy2::lmao:;)
