Hi all!

I know this has been discussed 1,000 times, but I can't seem to find a thread. Could someone direct me to a thread where the best Illuminations viewing spots are discussed? I tried searching and couldn't find one. OR if you would like to share your best viewing spot with me, I would appreciate it!

Thanks!

Our favorite viewing spot is by France. There is a little champagne stand there with some table and chairs. It was a nice place to be and a little romantic with champagne involved. I highly recommend this spot.

Have a good time!!

Hey slo!

Thanks for the tip! Are you able to sit at the tables and chairs to view Illuminations or do you get the champagne and stand? Can't remember the logistics and I'm not sure if you'd be able to see from the tables/chairs. I DO love champagne though, so this would definitely be a good place to do Illuminations! :hyper:

Thanks again!

The BEST locations, which were on a first come first serve basis at one time, are now reserved for paid desert parties.

We found a pretty good spot on a visit last year. Right across from the Candada pavilion, there is a small area right in front of the fence that overlooks the lagoon. There are even a couple of benches to sit on while you're waiting (although they face the wrong way - you'll need to stand up to watch the show). We got there about 8pm (after having dinner at Le Cellier) and had the area to ourselves!

I wouldn't sit at the table and chairs during the show because people could stand in front of you and then you wouldn't be able to see over them. You see, we would sit there to see Tapestry of Nation and then gradually move closer at the end of the parade. Now that the parade is not here we will just stand and claim our spot. I hope this helps.

At the Japanese Pavillion there is a look out space that is th best. Anywhere at World Showcase is great though:earseek:

We like around the bridge in France. DH and I also tried the second floor of that restuarant in Japan in December and had a decent view. You need to stand close to the corner to see the globe, though.

Be sure you factor the wind direction in your viewing. We watch the flags around Epcot and keep a note on where we will end up for the night then.:wave2:

get a PS at Rose & Crown and ask for a patio table
we did this Oct 01 and celebrated MILs birthday
