With the announcement of the return of Frozen Summer Fun, I'm trying to figure a way to fit the Frozen fireworks into our schedule.

I've been reading that the Frozen fireworks are usually 15 minutes before park closing. On the day I'm looking at, DHS closes at 10:00. Right now, we have plans for dinner at La Hacienda at 6:30, then Illuminations at 9:00. Would it be possible/realistic to make it to DHS for the Frozen fireworks? I'm thinking we would exit through the International Gateway and then take the boat.

If it isn't doable, if we've seen Illuminations many times, is it worth skipping Illuminations and heading over to DHS earlier?

With IllumiNations ending at 9:12 and the Frozen fireworks starting at 9:45,it would be possible by watching IllumiNations on the English Channel Bridge and then SPEED walking to DHS.

The boat usually takes 30 minutes plus "loading time" so walking would be the only way and you would have to stay "focused".:)

Or watch Illuminations from the north side and take the bus. That might be quicker if you caught the bus right.

I don't think 33 minutes would be enough time to walk from World Showcase Lagoon to the Epcot Buses, wait for a DHS bus and ride to DHS-"MAYBE" if everything fell into place(DHS bus sitting there waiting at Epcot,etc.).

Also each night that we went, which was rated 2 and 3 for attendance, it was VERY difficult to find somewhere to stand. We tried to find a place the first night about 15 minutes before and ended up leaving because we couldn't find anywhere. So we went back the next night and got a spot about an hour before. There was already A LOT of people waiting at this time. So not only will you be cutting it close, once you get there, you probably wouldn't be able to see it. Keep in mind, DHS is not like MK or EP for fireworks. There are a lot of buildings and trees blocking many areas, so the good areas to watch are few and far in between.
