I hope this is the correct board for this question. If it is not, I apologize.

I'm looking for recent reviews of this dessert party. I have reserved this for Christmas Eve night as something different and special for my family. It will be me, my husband, DS 13 and DD 9. Two years ago we did the Tommorrowland Dessert Party and we loved it. I booked this so we could do something new but am nervous because reviews are somewhat mixed and I can't find any recent reviews at all.

TYIA to anyone that responds.

eta. Meant to post this under dining reviews and just realized I posted under dining plan.

It's different from Tomorrowland. Smaller selection, no seating, standing tables only, and there's sparkling wine included which obviously anybody under 21 can't have even if they are paying full price.

Thank you for the response! I'm going to hold onto it for a bit longer but am seriously considering cancelling. I guess it'll depend on what dining reservation I can secure in its place.

I just did this last night. There are a lot of non-alcoholic drink options - coffee, hot chocolate, hot tea (several different types of Twining), iced tea, and lemonade with flavorings you could add - desert pear, pomegranate, and rose. There was sweet and dry champagne, and rum punch (very strong!) The desserts were good (sorry, no photos.) You might try searching again, because I recall seeing a fairly recent review.
The biggest drawback was that you have to stand the whole time. There is really NO WHERE to sit, and at the end of the day that was kind of a bummer. It seems like there are Epcot dining plans where you get Illuminations priority viewing. If any of those viewing areas have seating I might look into that instead. Unless your feet are in better shape by the end of the day than mine are, LOL.

No way to get that by just making a restaurant reservation. At certain restaurants with a view you might be able to request a table with a view but that doesn't mean you will get it. Illuminations viewing is included with the Candlelight Processional package, but there's no seating in their area either.

Spice Table Road has Illuminations viewing in almost the entire restaurant, it has seating (not offered in the party) , lots of import alcohols (more choice) and small plate appetizers. You might get away cheaper there! I would try it.

And Candlelight packages do not offer Illuminations viewing this year. :(

Were water and sodas available? Also were there enough tables (I know there are no chairs) for everyone if we went my nephew would definitely need a table for his plate/drink.

I know that water was available but I am not sure about sodas - the tables are high top (stand up tables) if your nephew is a small child he will not be able to reach the table.

As for the number - not sure on the number but there were quite a few

The view for illuminations is great though
