Hello all, I have a dilemma. It is our families first trip to WDW and I have two back-to-back days set for Epcot. The first day we have breakfast at 'Ohana, lunch at either Le Cellier or Coral Reef and dinner at Akershus to ensure we get to see Illuminations. The next day we are going to 1900 Park Fare for breakfast, have reservations at either Le Cellier or Coral Reef for lunch and dinner at 'Ohana but we won't get to see Illuminations again. What is more important......dinner at 'Ohana or seeing Illuminations a second time? If it is Illuminations I think we will keep Le Cellier for the first day and change Akershus to the second day and ditch 'Ohana dinner. Just a note, we do not have hopper passes and I cannot fit 'Ohana dinner in anywhere else as there are no ADR's to be had. Thanks for your help!

This is a no brainer for me, if you've already seen Illuminations once why miss out on one of the best restaurant experiences on property. :goodvibes

Ohana's baby!! :woohoo: Have a wonderful and magical trip!!

I love Illuminations but don't need to see it two nights back to back.

I agree with the others! i go about twice a year and I don't even need to see it two times a summer!! Nothing against Illuminations, but go for the meal!

Illuminations is the same no matter how many times you see it. Especially because of the fact that there are so many different and amazing restaurants throughtout Disney, especially Epcot, if it means skipping a second showing of Illuminations to keep an ADR I would totally go for it.

I would suggest doing something different for dinner on the second day. I know that you're eating two completely different meals at 'Ohana, but half the fun of eating in Disney is experiencing the different atmospheres. I would suggest not trying to hit the same place more than once, unless you have some particular preferance for a certain restaurant. You could always schedule dinner in Epcot the second day as well, but in a different restaraurant, and then maybe you'd be luck enough to get a table where you could see the fireworks while having dinner! Hope this helps!

Go to 'Ohana and then see the MK fireworks from the Poly beach. Though I suppose you might have MK fireworks already planned another night. In any case, seeing Illuminations once should be fine IMO.

Thanks everyone! I feel pressure to make this an amazing vacation because my daughters/father/me have never gone before. It's nice to know when I have a question I can ask and get responses from people in the know :worship:
