illuminations from CBR beach??

Hi!! our upcoming "adults only anniversary trip" is booked at CBR ( no POR avail. with FD) I'm sure I saw somewhere that you could, in fact, see illuminations from the beach area of CBR. Just wanted to check in with the experts, sooooo.....is it true? If so, which "area's beach"? TIA!

CBR is situated around a lake. The beach areas are around that lake. I am not sure if you can see the fireworks from the beach areas, but I know that they can be seen from various areas around CBR.

Please note that the fireworks that you see are only the higher fireworks from IllumiNations, you can't see the whole show (because most of it takes place in the Lagoon in Epcot).

We realized that we just needed to step outside of our door in the Barbados building facing the customs building. It was pretty cool. Have a great trip!

We have watched the fireworks from the beach in Martinique and from the pool. You will only see the high fireworks. I did see the lower ones from in front of the Custom House but that was a long time ago.

If the wind is blowing correctly you can also hear the music.

The view of illuminations is one of my favorite things about CBR. When we stayed there Dec 2008 we layed on the beach in front of Martinique 25 every night at 9:30pm to watch them. You can see about 75% of the show from that location and as stated above some nights you can hear the music as well. That is the single biggest thing I missed staying at CSR the last two trips.

Many people gather at the beach by Ol Port Royale to watch the fireworks. I know when we stayed in Aruba we walked out and sat in the grass at the top of hill to watch them. We could hear the music just faintly. As others have said, yes you are only seeing the high fireworks. You can definitely hear them even in your room (not loud but you can hear them).

I would say more than just the "high" fireworks. From CSR we could see the high fireworks. From our vantage point at CBR it was very entertaining and just like having fireworks at the resort.
