As an aside, Post #8 above is just a copy-and-paste of a line from your original post.

Many nights, (every night?) someone (or maybe a "cyber robot") comes on the DIS and simply copies a line from random posts and re-posts them in the same thread.
It is very bizarre!
She/he/it creates a new user name/account and just copies/reposts lines from others' posts.
It happens on three or four threads (or so) on multiple forums.
And then, that's it!

I figure it is someone (or some THING) whose native language is not English.
And (for whatever reason) is just using the boards as some sort of an odd exercise.

I just don't get WHY.

I've caught this a few times and reported it - my suspicion is that they're just trying to get their post count up quickly so they can post links to their website that's selling knock-off Nikes or something like that.

Nope.
These are very unique situations.
This particular poster(s) ONLY posts 3 or 4 times, TOTAL... ever.
Never to return to the boards.

(And, BTW, a mod has since deleted the original #8 post that I was talking about, but not until about 24 hours later... and that poster had not made another post (4 was the total) in that 24 hours.)

Have the info ready in front of you for what you want to book. Not sure if Illuminations has different boat sizes, but when we booked our Wishes cruise last week the cast member was clueless and told my husband the size boat he wants doesn't exist. She booked him the smaller boat, even though it wouldn't fit our whole party. I had to call back, and fortunately they still had a bigger boat available.
Oh and before we were able to book, a cast member told me that he could only book right at 180 days, not 180 plus ten. Which meant I had to hang up and do the whole wait time again to get someone who would book it for me.
Good luck, hope it doesn't take three calls (with 15-50 minute waits)!

They USED to offer a special cruise aboard a classic 1940s-style wooden speed boat, the Breathless, but no more.

Oh, right, I forgot about that. We're staying on site so I guess I can do the 180+10. Just to clarify, that would mean that I could call at the 180 day mark and book everything (we're staying a week) during that call. Or, if I do on the My disney experience website I could still do the 180+10 deal. Correct?

The tours need to be done over the phone. All my dining I did online. But I couldn't book Cinderella's Royal Table from the app, only a computer. And 180+10 only worked from a computer, not the app for me. I guess that is hit or miss these days.

OK, so I can book on line for the ADRs at 6a.m. (Eastern time) and then I have to call at 7a.m.`to book the Illuminations cruise, correct?
