The only reason I mentioned anything negative about those who choose to do it was in direct response to a PP. Basically calling anyone who doesn't do it a "cheapskate". That's where the animosity began, not with me.

And I've seen many, many more negative reviews of this particular party than positive. I think it's absolutely absurd that they charge all that money and don't even have a place for anyone to sit. I do think there are better ways to spend my money. But to each their own.

Yet there are people that will come and attack people who have opposing opinions than them for the same thing they just spoke about. There is no animosity, as said before we choose not to do it and that's that. We love illuminations and would rather spend our money on nice dinner and a spot within the WS, there was no mention of hating on anyone or animosity towards those that do the party. If you chose to do it, then you do and I'm happy for you, because that is your decision but there is no reason to turn around and pick at those who choose not to for whatever their personal reasons are after saying that they are the ones that hate on the Party goers.

I'm presuming you mean me since you quoted me, but really, all i meant to do in my post is say "why can't we all get along?" and offer the OP an opinion as to why we chose to book the party. no attacks intended, and i'm sorry you took it that way. to paraphrase what you said above, we choose to do it, and that's that. i don't care what others do.

i do think saying someone has more money than brains (i know that wasn't you who said it) does show hating and animosity towards those that do the party, though. different people enjoy different things - i just don't see what the big deal is in that, and why there has to be such disrespect for those who think differently. there's no need to be calling people who do the party stupid, and no need to be calling people who don't do it cheap.

on that note, i'm out, too. haters gonna hate. i'm just going to enjoy my desserts and fireworks, and hope the OP enjoys the show, too, no matter where they decide to watch from.
