Illuminations dessert party with 6 year old

Am considering doing this with DD and DH. DD is age 6. How long do the fireworks last? I'm concerned she might be too tired for the Frozen ride after. Also has anyone done this with a 6 year old? Thoughts? Thank you!

From the tone of your question, I figured that you thought the show was much longer.

Illuminations is about 12 minutes long.
Many children do it.
If you're concerned that she will be tired then I guess have her take a nap earlier in the day?
Keep in mind that the one thing they don't warn you about is the ride may be down and if that is the case they will offer Soarin' or a FP for FEA the next day.

Ok. I see the show is at 9, not 8 like at MK so we will.pass. too late for the kiddo. Thanks all for the feedback!
