OK did anyone have the cholate fountain for the desset party?
I know it is $15 per person and you need at least 19.50 per person to meet minimum requirement. What else did you add to meet that requriement?

Drinks will definitely bring up the bill for you. You could also add chocolate-covered strawberries. HTH!

The bride and groom strawberries look fantastic! Im definately going to do some sort of drinks with mine, but i dont know what yet!

we went with hot hor derves, blue cheese meatballs, coconut chicken tenders and a few other things. We also did open bar for some of our guests, and the rest open soda and juice bar. With this keep in mind it is only for 1 hour. Somehow I over looked this and missed out. I was in line to have my picture taken with Winnie The Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet. When I got back there was no food, they took it all away.

What is an illuminations dessert party? Is it for custom brides or can intimates have one too? Where can I get info about this?

A Illumanations Dessert Party is a party at one of the countries in Epcot on the water where a spread of desserts is offered to your guest during the Illuminations fireworks show. I am having my reception at the ADH and then a dessert party following the reception at Italy Isola in Epcot. Its about 1 1/2 hours long.

I believe its for anyone, the party is from 8:30 to 10pm. Fireworks are at 9:30 every night in Epcot. There is a food and beverage minimum of $19.50 pp and a fee for viewing Illuminations of 12.50pp. I know some venues you have to garantee a certain amount of people as in my case. To have it it Italy's Isola you have to have 100 people. Other venues like France and UK have a maximum number of guest they can hold. IF you recieved the DIsney information in the Mail it has all the information in there.

Yes! intimates can have an iluminations desseret reception too (I am having one). There are several different spots around the world showcase to view, including Italy (which you need 75+), United Kingdom Upper or Lower Arms, Morroco Terrace, and the French Arm. You can wear your gown and get photos during the fireworks as well. It is 19.50+ pp. plus a 12.50 viewing fee and the fee to rent a bus to bring your guests to and from Epcot. Oh, and a fee for a cast member to escort/supervise your party ($100 seems to come to mind, but not quite sure).
You can avoid some of these fees if your guests have Epcot tickets (-12.50 viewing fee pp) and meet at Epcot at the end of the night (- bus rental fee) and take Disney transportation back (buses/monrails). Some intimate brides also hold the dessert reception on a different night than the wedding since we have no $ minimum to meet. Only if you do this, you can't wear your dress in the park. Anyway, talk to your EM and hope this was useful. You may be able to find some pics of others' dessert receptions if you do a back search.
