I thought I had found this info before but now I can't seem to find it. What is the cost of the party ... I am having an intimate wedding but I thought I read that you can pay a small party fee and still have one... Any information at all would be greatly appreciated... I'm trying to get all the facts as early as possible. :cool1:

the prices vary. there is some info on disneyweddings.com & specifics at yourfairytale.com under the disney wedding basics link under ceremony, reception locations. dessert party menus start from $18.50pp, there's also a $12.50pp fee to view illuminations unless the said guest has a ticket for that day, along with the small party fee. fyi-smaller parties are limited to certain locations. i would check with your em about further & exact info.

I was told that you could not do this in your wedding attire if you have an intimate wedding. If you are thinking of this as a "reception" type deal in your wedding attire, I would check with your EM. Let me know how things work out, I will be very interested to find out as I would love to do this after the wedding.

There is a $12.50 per person viewing fee unless the guest has a park ticket for that day. There is also a per person cost for food and beverage (varies depending on the location of the party). I’m not sure about smaller groups, but I know we were also required to have a park hostess for every 50 people at $90 each. I would imagine smaller groups would still have to have a park hostess to escort you to the party area.

Thinking of doing this following our dinner reception at ADH. Price for French Island is $17.50/pp for food, $12.50/pp for Illuminations viewing, $50 for host/hostess, and $75 for tables and chairs. This is based on a minimum of 50 guests.

I would definitely do the illuminations party. We did it before the day before the wedding, but it would have been great for after the wedding too... a perfect ending. However, we did a dessert party and everyone was hungry for real food. They were running out and getting fish baskets even though they were told it was a dessert party. Oh well, it was still fabulous. Always ask your coordinator what can be done and BEG... you'll be surprised at what magic they can work. Good Luck.
