I got the 07 dining selections but no prices .. for those who have done a cruise before any idea on the price range for platters and bottles of wine?

Assuming you mean on an IllumiNations Cruise, all of the food items are provided thru the Yacht Club Private Dining Department and I would use this as a guideline:

I have 2 questions about the Illuminations cruises:

1. If you depart from the Y&BC marina, how early are you allowed to park at that resort? We were thinking of getting there around 4-ish, hopping on the boat to Epcot for a few hours, then coming back to catch the cruise.

2. I've heard on allearsnet that the smoke from the fireworks can be a problem when you're on the boat. Anyone have any experiences with this?

1. I would not mention that you plan on going to Epcot. You should not have a problem if you say you are going to Beaches and Cream and plan on walking around the BoardWalk area, and that you have an IllumiNations Cruise scheduled. That way the guard knows you will be parked until around 9:30pm.

2. Smoke is always a potential problem anywhere you stand anywhere around World Showcase. Can the smoke be blowing towards the boats, sure. You might get smoke, you might get smoke and ash too, but would I decide not to do a cruise just because of this possibility? No way.

We have room for 3 MORE PEOPLE for an Illuminations Cruise on Thursday, October 18th. Sounds like we will have a fun group onboard, including a 7-year-old birthday girl and a 7-year anniversary couple. None of us know each other, so don't feel shy if you'd like to come join us for a fun cruise.
