illuminations cruises after wedding?

if i book an illuminations cruise for the evening of our wedding day, will i be able to wear my dress or would i have to get changed first?
i know they dont allow dresses unless you've booked a dessert party but do the cruises count as being in the park?

The only place you are not allowed to wear your wedding dress is in the park. so theoretically you should be able to wear it on an Illuminations cruise.

well i finally got round to phoning disney about this and they said that its fine for me to wear my dress!!! yippee!!!! and the CM on the end of the phone was congratulating me on my upcoming wedding!! (made my day!)
so waiting for the 23rd august so i can book it now!!!!
looking forward to sitting on a boat under internationaly gateway bridge watching the fireworks with my hubby and family!

me & hubby2be have gone on the breathless & pontoon cruise & it was just magical! you'll have a wonderful time watching the illuminations fireworks on your romantic cruise! you'll have to get some pictures of the two of you on the cruise too, it's one of my favorite pictures of us.
