Illuminations cruise reservations?

We are going to Disney April 2- 12. Tried to call today and reserve a illum. cruise as a surprise to our family. Followed the reservation instructions on this board- hit a snag. When the phone was answered I hit the number 5. Absolutely nothing happened. I was not put on hold or anything. When I called back later and listened to the message envelope there was not a number 5 option. Please- if anyone has booked recently did the procedure outlined on this board work. I will try again tomorrow. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I just called the #, and the prompts ARE different. My guess is you dial the # (407-939-7529), then hit #4 (for recreation including boat rentals), then follow the other prompts (if you are visiting w/in the next 7 days, etc.)

Good Luck!! We are very excited that we have a boat. We are sharing with 2 other DIS families!

I called on Monday, Dec. 29 and was successful using the 5 prompt. The only slow down were a couple of questions about the number of times we've been to WDW and the most recent trip.

I was able to snag the last cruise for March 28th!
