Are you still able to go on the cruise in the rain? If it is cancelled due to heavy rain or thunderstorm,do you get a full refund on your credit card?

When we went in May we were also concerned with the weather. I called and they told us they only cancel in thunder and lighting(with a refund)ins and you don't go you loose your money!

But I must say while we were on the boat there was a heat lighting stoem and we still went!!

Have a great time

If lightening strikes within 6 miles, I think it is, they might cancel. They rarely cancel these cruises though.

Last Sept it was pouring the night of our cruise--And I do mean POURING. We were still going to go out, dh was going to take the 2 babies back to our room--thank goodness we were staying at the YC. I was going to go out with another family and my 2 oldest but our captain let us cancel if we wanted to. Several other boats did go out.
I would have still wanted to go in a light or regular rain but this was a very hard rain and there was some lighting.

With the prevailing weather pattern, I know I will at least bring our ponchos! Maybe the monsoons will ease a bit by Labor Day !
Now all I have to worry about is the "party" DS plans to have after the Auburn/Southern Cal game at my house!!! WE will be in the World, but HE will be at home for the BIG GAME!:bounce:
