Illuminations Cruise Central--DECEMBER

Update: Cruise is full! Thanks to all that responded and have a wonderful trip to Disney

Because of the wonderful advice from the dis boards and Tour Guide Mike, I was able to not only get an Illuminations Cruise, but also breakfast at CRT for my neice's 7th birthday!

And no one in the family knows about the cruise....it's my X-mas surprise!

So if anyone is interested, we have some room on our cruise on December 18th! Because a couple of family members can't make it, there are 8 of us....me, my 3 kids (19, 16 & 12), my neice (7), nephew(13), and my parents.

I would love for another dis family to share in the pixie dust and join us on the cruise!

Just to clarify, I don't have a cruise booked. I just thought if someone on the boards had one booked, I could help them defray the cost by joining them. I am going to call today and see if there have been any cancellations. If I snag a cruise by some miracle, I will share with anyone. It would help make it less expensive for me also. I know it's a long shot, but does anyone have a Pontoon boat reservered for Dec. 20 and would want to switch to the Breathless? We have the Breathless reserved, but it only seats 7, and there are 12 in our group. I was thinking of splitting up and just sending part of the group, but I think we really all want to stay together.

I'm still thinking about it, but I may be just releasing the Breathless reservation for Dec. 20, and I'll be sure to post here when I do in case someone else can use it.

I know this is the thread for Dec 2004, but I don't think the Dec 2005 thread is out yet. Anyway I have an Illuminations cruise (pontoon) for Saturday Dec 10, 2005. The CM said the cruises now include snacks (water, sodas, and chips), hold 10 instead of 12 people, and are $234.74 pus tax = $250.00. Anyway at the moment it is just me and my 73 y/o mom, so we have 8 vacant seats. If all seats are filled it would be $25.00/person plus the tip for the captain. If you're interested PM me. I wouldn't want any money sent though, until I knew for sure all the seats were filled. I then thought we could just take up money prior to the cruise for the captain's tip. When you sent me your money I would also like to have a cell phone number, so I could contact you about 14 days out, (before I have to call them back to verify the exact number of passengers) and also so I could contact you the night before the cruise to reverify. We'll be staying at POFQ, plus I'd give you my cell phone number in case you needed to get in touch with me. Fair? Anyone interested please PM me. It will be about a week before I can get back to anyone though, because I'm leaving at 6:20am tomorrow morning to go to WDW.
