My wife and I and my two college aged daughters will be in Disney from August 10 through August 15 and would like to share a fireworks cruise with someone.
I phoned this morning, and got our pontoon. There is one thing I'm wondering, though, she asked me how many people were going, and how many were adults etc. Does anybody know if this is normal, and why this is relevant?
Yes, while the limit on the pontoons is 12 people--they can't all be adults (i.e. there has to a mix) Not sure why--can't be weight--my nephew has outweighed and out-talled me for several years now (and he's only 14). I just remember asking a cm and she told me that. They also need life jackets for the kids.
The 23rd.....its a Saturday maybe thats why? My friend got a cruise for a weekday following and she wasnt given this spiel so I can only think that maybe because its Saturday! This will so mess up my plans but they did say if I call 5 days before they will know definitely if anything is going to happen so at least I can cancel and not be out the money ..... I want to see Illuminations!!!!!
We are looking for room for 3 adults and 1 child for any night the week of August 2-8. We were able to share a boat with someone last year and it was a great way to meet other Disney lovers and make new friends.
When I realized we have Spirit of Aloha booked for Tuesday @ 8:00. Good thing I had my list handy. That's what happens when you don't have your coffee before you dis!LOL
