Can I park at either YC or BC for illuminations cruise?

Sorry ... the only way you can park in resort lots is to have a lodging reservation at the resort or a dining reservation. They do not allow theme park parking in any resort lots.

we parked at the yacht and beach club-they let us in when we told we had reservations. I actually called ahead and that's where they told me to go this past march. we even changed clothes in a bathroom off the lobby. then go out the back door and go to the long dock on the right hand side

Yep, they'll give you a parking pass. We parked at the Poly when we took a Wishes cruise from the Poly and we parked at BW when we took an Illuminations cruise from the BW.

YES, you can park at either the Yacht Club (closer to Bayside Marina) or the Beach Club, just tell the Guard that you are there for the IllumiNations Cruise at 8pm. Just don't arrive at 8am and try to use that reason, that would be the only time that they can deny your entry.

They're going on an Illuminations Cruise - they CAN park at the hotels for that.

Other posts have established that you can park at YC/BC for the cruise, since you pick it up at the YC marina.

That being said, the above post is still not completely correct (and I may be splitting hairs here). It is true that you can't park at the resorts in order to go to the parks, but you can park at the resorts without a lodging or dining reservation if you just want to go and look around the resort. You may be given a parking pass with a limited time frame, but visiting the resorts (and parking there to do so) is certainly permitted.
