Illuminations Christmas finale is spectacular!

Just a word for those on their way to the World...don't leave Illuminations right away. There is a specatular finale! On our last night I had to run from the Swan to China at 9:00 because my child lost her favorite souvenir. I ran SO fast, but I got to see the finale again as I left the parks for the last time. It is just incredible!

Isn't it incredible? We watched it from our pool deck last night becuase the booming was so loud and so different from 'normal' we just had to go and see what was going on. It sounded like a war zone over there!

Fabulous finale. Very 'Christmas-y'.

We were standing at the International Gateway last night and it was wonderful. The special finale was breath taking.

We loved it too, First time we did make the mistake and left early so we could catch the lst boat back to the swan, my ds watched the finale from out the back of the boat. Next time we stayed and saw the whole thing. We all agreed it was our absolute favorite. My one ds piped up and said - wow, Illuminations rocks!! A definete must do and not to be missed.

Does anyone know how long they will be doing this? We arrive on the 27th but my inlaws won't be there until New Years night. I hope they get to see it too!

We saw it Monday, 11/28. It brought little tears to my eyes. I especially liked the part with the song, "Let there be peace on earth"

It should end on December 30th.
Now, one side note, since there are TWO IllumiNations on News Years Eve, they MAY do this at the early show, but I am not 100% sure.

Thanks for the head's up! We'll be at WDW this weekend, and I have to admit *quietly* that Illuminations isn't my favorite and I usually try to rally the troops to bolt a bit early. I'll grab a drink and some patience and enjoy the show.

I saw the finale from the hallway outside my room at POP (yes, POP!! ) I had a fourth floor room in the 50's and I could see Illuminations and Christmas Wishes at the same time!!! What a view!

Cool I saw the holiday ending last year and was really impressed. I am looking forward to seeing it again in 9 days!! So is Wishes different on the regular nights or only on MVMCP nights?

We saw this last year and loved it. Not sure if we will make it down this year. Is it the same song as last year - Let There Be Peace on Earth. It was just beautiful.

The special IllumiNations finale is incredible! My DW and I saw it several times during our visit last week. I think that there are more fireworks in that last five minutes than in the rest of IllimiNations.

The special Wishes show is shown only during MVMCP. The other nights we were at the MK, it was the standard Wishes. Both are great, but the MVMCP version has the 360 fireworks in addition to different fireworks and narration.

We loved it too. Watched it in the park one night and from the beach at Martinique 2 other nights. Could even hear the music!!!

Starting our park hopping on 1/2....so disappointed that the Christmas Illuninations doesn't last a little longer. Was really hoping to see it.
