Illuminations and Table Service

Just wondering if there's a good table service restaurant(besides Rose & Crown) where I can still see Illumninations (maybe while we're eating dessert).

R&C is the only TS restaurant on the lagoon, the rest are *in* the countries on the other side of the sidewalk. There is also seating at the CS restaurant in Mexico on the lagoon, but be prepared to get there early to stake out a table.

You can see Illuminations from Bistro de Paris (the restaurant upstairs in France). You would need to have a table by the window and there aren't many of those. It's also probably not the best view. DH and I had dinner there a few years ago and were lucky enough to have a table near a window and we actually could watch Illuminations and we could hear the music even though it was muffled because we were indoors. It was very romantic and we enjoyed it very much. However, I would say that if you really want to enjoy Illuminations, this is not the place to be. It's only nice watching it from there if you have seen it before and been able to fully enjoy it with a good view.

I think there are five -- maybe six -- tables at Bistro de Paris that have some significant view of the show. I wouldn't recommend it if seeing the show is your aim.
