If I want to see Illuminations from the Rose and Crown in December (Illuminations is at 9:30 then), what time should I make PS for? I've never seen Illuminations from Rose and Crown-actually, never eaten at Rose and Crown at all. Reserving CP package on a night when they're having MVMCP in MK, so hopefully that will decrease #s in Epcot. Doing 6:45 show, going solo, so what time would you recommend for PS? I'm assuming Rose and Crown has some small tables on the patio. And what do you think my chances are?

Even though you have PS there is no guarantee that you will get a patio table. If you will be there prior to Christmas week when the parks are not too busy, you may not have a problem.
It is suggested that you stop at the R&C podium earlier in the day to request a patio table, however this does not always work.
If you are seated inside, you ARE allowed to watch from the patio . By the way, the fish and chips are pretty good! Hope this helps.:D

Thanks, but I guess it doesn't matter what the "ideal" time is. I was so anxious, I called for the CP package today, and 8:00 was the latest they had openings at the Rose and Crown. Must be filled with CP package since it's more than 90 days out. But it is a relief to know you can see from inside. I'm probably the only one actually hoping my PS runs late.

You can't actually see from inside. I think capegirl meant that they let the people from inside walk out to the patio. I've heard so many different experiences about what they do and don't do, that I think the procedure is very unpredictable. Good luck, I hope it works out.:D

The waitstaff came around to all the tables and asked if we would be interested in going outside to watch Illuminations. DD went out on the Patio but I stayed inside enjoying my Prime!LOL

Our table was by the fireplace and I could see some of it from there! They are very accomodating so don't worry.

Regarding the Fish and Chips, according to DD it was ICKY!LOL We are used to having a light batter and halibut but their's was a Thick Batter and Cod! She was not amuzed!LOL
