Illness alert for travel?

Ok, so I have been out all day-maybe I missed something. But this story on Yahoo headlines is kind of freaky.

Yikes! that's the first I've heard of that. Pretty scarey. I always worry when we go to Disney since there are so many people from all over the world there. Someone in our family always gets sick when we are at WDW. DH usually gets a cold from the airplane!

This actually made the front section of our newspaper today-big headline story. I guess it is for real . I hope they can stop its spread, too many other things to worry about these days.

The same story was all over my Yahoo front page. The WHO (World Health Organization) was issuing the alert. Reps from the US and several other countries are flying over to help. I'll keep an eye on the situation but I'm not going to freak out about it yet.

According to our newspaper, there is a man who was in New York City at a convention that had this illness and then boarded a plane to Singapore (I think) and had to be taken off the plane in Germany.. Another man was in Atlanta - boarded a plane to Toronto - and has also been hspitalized..

Sounds scary to me - that two people here in the states have been walking around with it - but I guess all we can do is hope that the CDC can find a way to contain it..

More than anything, I would like to know what the SOURCE is and why our antibiotics aren't working on it....
