We live in Aurora and have been DVC members since 1993. We have ressies at the Plaza between Christmas and New Year's to attend a family wedding. We're hoping to get down to OKW, our home resort, for a few days this summer.

Another family who ives in Bloomington/Normal (we are FROM Seattle- will never be FROM the flatlands)......we own at BWV and will be down in late July!!!

WOW, this is great! So many DVC members so close. I grew up in Sycamore where I would guess that disneyatheart is from. I now live in Geneva and have been a member of the BCV for a year now. Our first trip was last July just after it opened up. We were there for spring break, and will be back for Christmas and NYE. Perhaps we will have a chance to run into some of you fellow IL DVC members while there. We will be staying at the BCV, and can’t wait to go back.

Grew up in IL (Oswego), we are now from Westmont. Our family will be traveling to WDW in a few weeks for 13 nights with my mother and sister. We also rented out our points and will be doing the Western cruise in November. We own at VWL, BCV and HH. We are debating an add-on at VB, but will have to check out the $$$ situation. I think we have settled on the idea of three vacations/year, but not all to WDW.

I love HH, and think it is the best of the DVC resorts.

Southern Illinois here (Swansea). Originally from Central Illinois (Sullivan). My wife is from Skokie. We own at HH.

I mentioned growing up on the southeast side of Chicago and currently living in Rockford, but I failed to mention my 2 1/2-year stint in Genoa. I know Sycamore well - we were members of St. Mary's church and my second child was born at Kishwaukee Hospital!

We live in the western suburbs of Chicago (as can be seen from the info at the left). Our WDW home is BWV. We will be at BWV in early June (Flower and Garden), October (Food and Wine), early January, and March, with shorter stays at VB tacked on in June and January.

NW burbs here - Crystal Lake. We own Vero Beach and usually do Disney every other Thanksgiving, except now that we have two kids in High School, we have to change our travelling dates

I remember you from your days on WAND. We live in Arthur and purchased at the Beach Club in December 2002. Our first trip their will be in September 2003, and are tentatively planning on using our points for a cruise in May of 2004.

Very cool!! I love Arthur!! I took CarolAnnK down there last summer to my cousin's farm in Oakland. Next day, I took her to Arthur and I always have to stop at the meat market in Chesterville. They got great stuff in there!!

Mary.... Good memory. I did work at WAND-TV. Left there in 1991, married to former news anchor Julie Moore.

DH was born and brought up north of Chicago-Lake Bluff/Lake Forest until he finished school. And since he's about the only family member to "leave the nest", he's got lots of family there-Mundelien, Gurnee, forget where else exactly. OKW in 1 1/2 weeks, HH next March. I'm sure he'd like to meet some former "neighbors".

My wife and I live in Palatine, which is in the Northewest suburbs of Chicago. We where at BCV from May 1 - 12. Very sad to be home. Not sure when our next Disney Trip will be.
