It finally happened!

I'm at work and I CAN'T CONCENTRATE! Why? Because I'm going to WDW in only 29 days. Because I only have 23 days of work left. Because I still have so much to take care of both for the trip and here on my desk. I just want to be on the plane already!

Ok, I need to calm down and focus. This happened around the same time last trip to WDW. A few weeks before departure I was a basket case. Not in a crazy call Metropolitan State Hospital kind of way. I want to get the party started and I'm all hyper today.

I know something that'll bring me down to earth. I have to go bathing suit shopping tonight. I suppose I could wait until we go to the outlet this weekend but I'm worried that there will only be slim pickings. After trying on a few suits I may want to cancel the trip!

Hah! I went BS shopping last night - you better believe it was a lot of BS. Tell me one thing. If tankinis in the women's, not juniors in the women's dept. are supposed to be to hide the tummy then why the heck do they match them with these teeny bottoms? Do they really think a size 14 gal needs to be wearing low rise bottoms? I found 4 suits that had adorable tops that believe it or not all fit to my satisfaction but the bottoms? Not a pretty sight after I squeezed into them. It's not that they fit tight or anything, they were just cut too low to the point where things were spilling out that have no business seeing the light of day. So the search continues for a swimsuit and I'm running out of time!

I'm trying to lose a few pounds before we leave too. I mean, I've been doing this weight loss thing for a few months now but it's been going at a snail's pace. I did get to Bally's a few times last week but I need to muster up the energy somehow and get my big butt back there hopefully tonight. If I can just lose 10 pounds by then I'll be happy.

Sigh, I've always been a bit on the chunky side but when I was younger everything was firm - seems like gravity has begun to take it's toll especially with the weight I've lost. Ewww!

The Search Continues...

Finally made it the outlet stores this weekend. Actually we hit two. The first one has all of the stores outside and it was hot hot hot so we didn't spend too much time there and headed to an inside outlet mall with air conditioning. My poor 7 month pregnant DS couldn't take that kind of heat. It's making me realize that we're not going to be able to go commando this trip and will probably end up having to rent an ECV.

Wasn't I talking about shoppping? Well I didn't get as much accomplished as I would've liked because we ended up looking for some cute maternity outfits for DSis. I did however score an awesome deal last night online at Banana Republic. Bought a really nice haltar dress and for $100 off to boot! Whoohoo, I loves me a good deal. I've been keeping the UPS guy pretty busy the past couple weeks and will be ordering some Crocs for myself and DSis tonight. Unfortunately I'm still in search for a bathing suit. I took V's advice and checked Lands End but didn't really find what I was looking for so the search continues.

I'm getting nervous knots already and the days are going by a little faster than I'd like with having so much on my plate right now. That's ok, pretty soon I'll be on that plane heading out to see the Mouse!

Anyone remember that song? Wasn't it Styxx that sang it? OMG, I'm dating myself, does anyone even remember Styxx of Mr. Roboto fame? And what does the song have anything to do with anyway???? Well my lazy butt UPS guy who leaves my packages in plain view on the front porch actually made me very happy today - I got my cruise docs!!!! Yipee!!! Yes I've already checked in for the cruise on the DCL website, actually did it weeks ago and even printed everything out so technically I didn't need the docs they sent me today but dang it, I wanted the cool DCL envelope and my luggage tags so when I found it they may arrive when we're in WDW I quickly got on the phone to my TA and asked if she could arrange to have sent to me early. Voila, my wish was granted and they finally came today a little over 3 weeks from sail date. I'm so excited I could scream!!! I mean I was already excited about WDW but I haven't been on a cruise in years and my sons never have and I just want to see the look on their faces when they catch their first glimpse of the Magic. Man, I've got it real bad now, I'm at work and still have another two hours to go and there's no way I'm going to be able to think about anything other than the trip.

I've been so busy I've been completely neglecting to post to my pre-trippie but I have been lurking around the DIS these past few days making sure that I stay abreast of any changes because you know with WDW there are always changes. I still have a ton to do. My organizational skills are sorely lacking this trip but then again I'm a single parent this time around so I haven't had as much time to make sure loose ends are tied up well in advance. I mean last trip to WDW I had started packing months in advance. I haven't even brought up our luggage from the garage, I still have more shopping to do, that daily touring plan I keep talking about still isn't completed and I have lots of errands to run. But it's all good baby, it's all good. The adrenaline is really pumping now and I know everything will all come together albeit at the last minute. Mickey, here we come!!!!
