I'll show you my Lapu Lapu if you show me yours!

So pleased about your MIL, can't help with the cruise situation wish I could :rotfl:

Are you still coming to our Poly beach meet on the 25th :confused3

I'm going to do my best! Let's see, that's our Epcot day and we have have an ADR for dinner at Kona. Our surprise guest my BIL will be arriving that afternoon and we're to meet him back at the Polynesian for our ADR so I'm hoping after dinner I can sneak in a Lapu Lapu (or two).;)

DMIL had her lumpectomy and came through with flying colors. No metastasis to the lymph nodes and she should be starting radiation within a couple of weeks followed by chemo. That has been a load off of all of our minds and we thank God because it looks like she should come out of this just fine.
Wow, Lisa! That's fantastic!
Now on to happier thoughts. I GOT "THE PACKAGE" TODAY!!!! Now I don't know whether it's just the ME stuff or everything else since I'm hearing the ME package is being mailed separate from the goodies you get from Disney Travel but either way I'm stoked dude, dudes or dudettes. My son called me at work earlier and gave me the newss and I can't wait to get home!
Ok you know I had to email my TA to see if she's got my stuff waiting. :rolleyes1 Let me know when you receive the other "package", please!
So much to do and the clock is tick tick ticking. I haven't begun packing yet, barely started our daily itinerary last week and still have more clothes shopping to do. I'm waiting for the clearance sales to start and will probably make a trek to our local outlet mall next weekend.
Girl, you better get cracka lackin'! Everything's washed and packed here! I'm ready to roll!
Speaking of garment bag, I don't know how the heck we're going to fit 3 weeks worth of clothing and the luggage it'll be packed in into our stateroom on the Magic. If anyone has any suggestions let me know. And no, I'm not doing laundry on my vacation!:laundy:
:confused3 May the force be with you. I know on allears there's a link to a site that will tell you how to vacation with just a large carry on! :faint: I know, hard to believe!

Well, I'm lucky enough to get a DIS meet in the airport/plane with you, but I do hope you stop by to say "Hi" to the others! ;)

BTW, how's your DSis doing? Is she showing yet? Does she know what she's having? I know, I'm nosey! :hyper:

Yes, we're very relieved! Her situation was a big wakeup call, KWIM? All the more reason to really enjoy this trip with my boys because you just never know what life has in store.

I definitely will let you know. Oh, and I got a bonus the same day my ME stuff arrived, I got our P&P party tickets. They're so cute! My middle son David saw something online about the party and said, " Ooh, I want to go to that!" I told him some story that it was during October. Well he bought it and didn't ask about it anymore. They're going to be so surprised!:goodvibes

Tell me about it. I have lots left to do. Last trip by this time I was already packed with the exception of my husband who decided to pack the night before our flight.:sad2: I was up all night helping him. Hey, it was a 3 week trip so there was lots to pack. Oh well, I wouldn't have been able to sleep anyway just like those cut kids in the WDW commercial. This time I've vowed that we'll be completely packed, bags waiting by the door by Sun. 8/19 because on the 20th I want it to be a stress-free day, I'm going to sleep in go have my hair and mani-pedi and watch Disney movies all day.

Oh yeah I saw that. There's no way I could ever go out of town for more than a weekend with only a carry on, nope, never gonna happen.

I just know when we get to the AA terminal I'll be able to pick you out of the crowd right away. Will you be wearing lime? Hey, let's see who can get there first!

I want to meet up with you guys too so I'm going to do my best to make it. Everyone's meeting at the Tambu Lounge, right?

BTW, how's your DSis doing? Is she showing yet? Does she know what she's having? I know, I'm nosey! :hyper:

She's doing great and yes, she's showing. She's due at the end of October and she's having a girl. After 3 boys I think it's time to cut back on the testosterone. I can't wait to get the baby some cute outfits at WDW. I don't know how my poor sister is going to handle the heat though. I'm pretty sure she's going to need one of those ECVs because I don't think she'll be able to do all that walking because her belly will be even bigger in the next 5 weeks.

The "package" has arrived!!!

Yes, it's true! I just got home from work a few minutes ago. As I was driving down the street, butterflies in my stomach I was hoping upon hope that it would be there waiting for me. As I got to about 3 yards from my house, there it was, the familiar blue and white envelope from WDW that signified two long years of blood, sweat and tears in planning this trip. 3 years actually because technically I started planning while on the plane on the way from from our last trip. So where does the blood come into play? I dunno, I think I may have gotten a paper cut opening a Disney Travel Co. envelope one time. The sweat? I've worked my booty off paying for this 2-in-1 trip. The tears? My DM wasn't able to make it on the cruise after all and my DSis almost didn't at the last minute and I even thought I may have to cancel all together with things being touch and go with DMIL. And there will be more tears people, I can feel it in my bones. Hopefully most if not all will be tears of joy on the morning of 8/21/07 when I wake up my boys and say, " Get up, we're going to Disney World!"

::yes:: Of course I'll be wearing my lime green. Well, it's more of a celery than lime, but I'll have my lime crocs on for sure!

Yes. I do believe everyone will be at the Tambu lounge around 8:30ish.

Yay! A girl! princess: What a trooper she is to go 7 months pregnant! Oh my gosh they have the cutest baby girl creepers at Costco right now! :goodvibes

AHHHHH!!!! YAAAAY!!!!!!!! :cheer2: :cheer2:
That's it, I'm gonna blow up my TA's voicemail tomorrow! :lmao:

I've packed, need to unpack and have to pack again!

Well, my baby finally came home day before yesterday. Don't know if I mentioned it before but Damian my son who just graduated high school went off the South Carolina for two weeks and is home now. I packed for him, still need to unpack his stuff and pack all over again. It's ok, I'm just glad to have him back home!

Anyway, this weekend if I have time I'm going to start laundering the new clothes I bought the boys. I said if. My mom called me this morning and invited me to another shop-till-we-drop outing on Sunday. I was going to our local outlet mall this weekend (Tracy you know which one, the Citadel) but my mom's plan sounded much better so we're driving out to Lake Elsinore outlets which has more stores. Yipee! Ooh and they have a Von Dutch store which I'm hoping has good prices. I'm ready to finish up getting the things we need as far clothes are concerned anyway. That means I should be able to start officially packing by next weekend if I play my cards right with my schedule.

Other than that nothing much is going on other than watching the days go by one by one. I did make one small change to our ADRs. After listening to the DIS podcast Tuesday I decided to drop WCC. I know we have free dining but I don't want to waste credits if the food isn't edible. Besides we have an ADR for lunch at Sci-Fi that day so we'll probably be pretty full after that. Instead of rushing around trying to make it to WCC that evening we'll just hang out at the pool and grab a bite at Captain Cook's whenever we get hungry again.

Shoppin' till you drop sounds good baybay!!! So glad you have all of your paperwork...it always feels "real" for me when that comes in!!! The countdown is on!

Oh and it does feel very real now. After this weekend's shopping escapade it'll be time to start packing it all up. I do have a few other odds and ends to get. I don't own my on Bath & Body franchise like Tracy does ;) so I'm going to have to pick up some extra lotion and shower gel for the boys and I. I also need to put together my Targee (the french-sounding soft G) list. Yeah I'm a Target girl. While in theory I do like Walmart I just can't get past the messy, dirty crowded stores we have out here. I've been to ones out of state and they're always much better kept than the ones near my home.

Totally off topic, know what my youngest son said yesterday? He asked what we were doing this weekend and I said I'm working Sat. and shopping on Sun. You would've thought by the look on his face that he's been under house arrest all summer. He says, " Mom, you mean I'm going to be stuck at home again, I'm bored?!" He's been all over the place, Knott's Berry Farm, his graduation breakfast, grad dinner, he went to the movies 3 times in Hollywood which encompasses an entire evening which includes dinner, 2 parties with a 3rd one coming up in 2 weeks. He goes to the mall just about every week, has tons of video games plus a computer. And we have the trip coming up. I know it sounds like he's a spoiled brat but he's not, it has nothing to do with material possesions or money. I dunno, I think kids nowadays are just overstimulated and I guess he feels like he always has to doing something outside of the house for it to count as an activity. OMG, I can't believe I just said "kids nowadays". I'm getting old! Maybe he's just getting anxious to get our official vacation going. If I ask him to go shopping with us I might as well ask him to stick a rusty nail in his eye.

When my DS says he's bored...and he is 11...I tell him the toilet needs a good scrubbing. funny...he always finds something to do! :teeth:

I always tell mine we can always start our school year early. Amazing how fast they find something to keep them busy!

Ha, ha, I had him doing chores yesterday - vacuuming and dusting the living room. I haven't heard him complain anymore.;)

Hmm, you just gave me a good idea. Maybe I can give him some homework to do for the next 4 weeks before we leave.:teacher: Just kidding, I wouldn't do that to him. That is unless I hear him complain about being bored again.:lmao:

I shopped but I didn't drop.

Got a little side-tracked this weekend so I didn't get to go outlet shopping but resheduled for next week. I had to get my fix somehow so I went to the mall this afternoon. Picked up some of the new Disney Studios tees I saw on the Disney Shopping website, the ones that are 2 for $25 plus a really cute Minnie tank for me. Also stopped by Nordstrom's and got some really good deals on shirts for the boys. When I got home I had to take inventory again because I haven't been making sure to add to my ongoing list each time I buy something. Between my 3 boys they have 56 tees alone which doesn't include 3-4 polo shirts and about 4 collared shirts each or their shorts, jeans and 1 suit each for formal night on the cruise.

But hey, I'm not going to stress about the massive mound of stuff I need to pack. Nope, I'm going to pull out my handy dandy Hefty 2 gallon resealable bags. Any time we go on trips longer than a week I use them. IMO they're better than the space bags - all I do is squeeze the air out of them and voila, everything is organized and stays virtually wrinkle free plus keeps clothes safe from accidental spills from any liquids.

Well, enough boring talk. Tomorrow it's back to the daily grind of too much work and not enough play. 30 days and counting!:)

 My baby comes home tonight after two weeks away - I can't wait!

Good plan! :thumbsup2 I'm always supportive of non-rushing evenings at WDW.

Ooo, did you hit the Nordstrom anniversary sale, too?! I did some serious damage there this weekend :rolleyes1

WOOO HOOOO!!!

Yay! Two weeks doesn't seem like much at first but after about the first couple days you really begin missing them.

Good plan! :thumbsup2 I'm always supportive of non-rushing evenings at WDW.

Yeah, plus now I can gorge on a hamburger and onion rings and then wash that down with a shake without having to worry about being to full for dinner!:drinking1

Oh yeah but I used DFM to justify my purchases. And what's with all the model types that work there? The guy that helped me in the mens' section looked like someone right out of an Ambercrombie and Fitch catolog. I mean he was about 15 years too young for me but boy was he hot! Not trying to impress anyone but I think I need to get a makeover before my next shopping trip there.:lmao:

56 Tees :faint: I don't think I've owned that many t shirts in my life :rotfl2: I'm going to have to try the ziplock bag thingie but they're so expensive over here, I'll have to go look in poundland (our equivalent of the dollarstore I think!)

You should see how much laundry I have to do for 3 teenage boys!:laundy:

That's it! I'm calling it poundland from now on....LOVE IT!
