It's been over a month since my kitchen renovation started. I have a very small galley kitchen so it isn't a huge job. But, the problems keep building up and I am totally frustrated. One cabinet door came in with broken glass and I was told we'd have it replace in 1 week. It was 2 weeks ago yesterday now it won't be in until 11/19. The counter (zodiaq) was installed yesterday and the plumber was scheduled for the afternoon but they were told not to because the counter had to sit for a while so they came this moring. They are to install the faucet, garbage disposal, dishwasher and ice maker lines. The whole for the faucet is too small and won't be corrected until this afternoon. They also scheduled the tile guy to do the back splash this am. He had to leave because the plumbers are there! The plumber just pulled out the fridge (brand new, semi built in GE Profile, with ice and water dispenser in the door). The fridge is damaged with 2 very large scratches and dents, which happened when they forced it into the cabinet. The plumber will not touch it and can't pull it out any more to install the water line. The guy won't be there to look at it until after work. The fridge cost almost $2000. and I will not accept it. We live at the shore and things rust, quickly. The electrician left wires all over the attic, none are secured down and loop all around. Everything was supposed to be done today. It's the weekend so it looks like another weekend without a full working kitchen.
