I'll be spending my 28th birthday at Walt Disney World, could anyone give me good ideas on what to do that would be really enjoyable for us both? Maybe a dinner show or something?

and since I did all the planning, I picked a few great things.

1. I was lucky enough to reserve an IllumiNations cruise for the first night of our arrival, a few days before my birthday. A little risky as we are flying in from NY and who knows what the weather will be like the end of Feb. I really wanted to do this on my actual birthday, but hey I'm happy I got one!!

2. On my actual birthday we are doing the Fantasmic dinner package at H&V. DH stood next to my while I was making PSs all the while strongly encouraging me to have them note my B-Day on our reservations. So I did, even though I felt al little funny about it! I'm hoping after Fantasmic we can head over to Epcot and catch the fireworks again.

3. We are also doing HDD a few days after my birthday.

I'll be celebrating my birthday there too this year - in just 15 days! I have no idea what DH has planned (this whole trip was a surprise) heck, I have no idea where we are even staying.

But I plan on being a princess for a day on my birthday - a big 27 year old princess! heheh I'm even going to wear minnie princess ears! I think your DD would get a kick out of mom acting like a big kid! :)

for something special - why not a character meal? Those are so much fun with kids! (I find that the characters don't spend too much time with us young couples w/o children.) I dunno if a 7 year old would really enjoy some of the nicer sit-down meals...but a character meal or a show (hoop-dee-doo) would be fun for both I think.

Enjoy!

Go and have dinner with Cinderella and Price Charming. The food is good and the character interaction is good to. Plus if you go before the fireworks, you can walk through GF resort and watch the fireworks from the docks! it's really great!
You even get a Happy Birthday tiara to go with your huge bday cupcake!
If you take the monorail... ask if you and your daughter can be co-pilots and get special honorary driver license. I think that would be pretty a pretty special moment for both of you!
