I just discovered how wonderful this stuff looks. I usually just send my prints out, but I had to print some at home last night.

We had picked up a box of this paper at compusa when they were closing, so it was 50% off or something. I didn't open it until last night, though.

The paper looks/feels like real photographic paper! I used ilford pearl a lot in my photography classes, so I was pleasantly suprised. The prints came out great! I used an epson photo 300 that hasn't been used in over a year. Had to change some cartridges, but other than that, good to go. Now I'm going to look around and see what else I can print before I put the printer away. (We have a lot of printers here, so the photo one is not one that is hooked up all the time...)

I use Smooth Pearl all the time. I just got an Epson R1800 and a box of 13X19 of it, almost twice the cost of the 8.5X11, but it is worth it. I looks great on the Epson and the R1800 ICC profile from Ilford matches pretty darn close to what I see on my monitor and what I get on the paper.
