I guess he's trying to tell us that he's sick and tired (literally!) of waiting for a new liver, and the only thing that will stop him from taking that cruise, is if he's in the hospital getting the liver. At least, that's my "garRy" translation....although I've been off my game lately with his translations.

I haven't been around here much -- my father was very ill and we really thought we were losing him last week. He's doing much better, but every time my phone rings, I have a mini-panic attack!

Me? No WDW for me. We'll only be in Tampa for the one night (Sat Jan 11) and then again Sunday morning/noon January 19th.

Jordan and I are taking a quick, one week run to Omaha in two weeks, to see the grandbabies. Jordan had to leave before River was born, so she wants to see her.
Otherwise, it's just same old/same old here.

Sick and tired....or really sick??? I totally understand (okay, I really don't, because I've not ever had to deal with what you are) that you HAVE to be sick of all of it by now. I'm so disgusted with the system. You should have been all done and better by now.

And don't get me started on the REST of the system....health care. My blood pressure rises, and I about blow an artery just thinking about it.

Had my pellets implanted Tuesday, that's always fun.
Saw the ear, nose and throat doc yesterday. Does it make you feel better to know they shoved a camera up my nose and down into my throat???
He suggested an upper GI, and I politely declined.
Have moderate hearing loss....already knew that....and now am being set up for my sleep study, which we've known all along that I needed to do. But I'm finally getting things done while I still have control over my health care, before the government panel starts making those decisions for me.

Off my soapbox now.

It translates to this:

The things we do for our grandbabies!!! Normally, I would never go up there between the end of October and the middle of March. But if I wait that long, the baby will be half grown by then.

I keep a winter coat, robe and slippers at my parents' house. Can borrow sweatshirts....hoping to just carry on a couple pair of jeans and long sleeve shirts. And not go outside.

New picture of the little peanut. She's growing too fast, and I can't wait to get back up there in just under two weeks. By the time I get back up there, in the spring, she'll be halfway to college.

In other news, I've been getting a lot of long overdue doctor appointments taken care of....before my insurance changes.

Having a sleep study done in November....knew I needed to do this, but kept putting it off.

Nothing serious, just little things that needed to be checked out. Basically, I'm healthy as a horse. Are horses healthy, garRy??
