CONGRATULATIONS TORI - CLASS OF 2011

Thank you!! I must be getting more used to the idea of him joining, since I bought a really awesome picture frame yesterday with the Marine Corps logo on it. When he finishes boot camp, I'll put his "official" picture in it.

So...Mark & Mary.....only a month now until ALASKA!! :yay:
Are you excited?? Did you make buttons for this cruise? Do you have a chatty Meets thread?

Our thread for Vanessa's wedding cruise is pretty quiet.

I think the girls finished packing this weekend for their cruise tomorrow.

Tonight we start the celebration with Belly Buster at the Daytona Cubs game.
All you can eat hotdogs, Hamburgers, Pizza, popcorn and peanuts plus a ticket into the game for $11.

When Matt was here he pretty well wiped them out at Belly busters so we see how two gymnasts do today.

Have a Great time....And apologies, which ship are they on? I forgot...:sad2:

oopsie....

We are back from a weekend at Ft. Wilderness....Sam has been out and back to Colorado to pick up a new camper for the truck. And since he had a free weekend, and the seas were high and I was in Orlando - it was the perfect spot to try out the new camper....It is different - and will take a little adjusting as everything is in a different place. But heck, it is Disney so lots of fun and it has been ages since we were at Ft. Wilderness......

I went over and made sure Lauren knew how to use the waterproof camera enclosure - also reminded them of a couple of things they forgot.... Loaded up their car - and they are on their way....

I hope that Frances, Lauren, Jessie, Sharon, Lisa and Ashley have a wonderful cruise!

Yep, they should be well on their way.:banana:

And it's just Clover and I for five days. :woohoo::woohoo:

Sad, sad day at our house. I didn't post on Facebook yet, since I haven't reached Megan this morning, but our little lhasa Ash passed away last night. He'd gotten out of the fenced yard and was attacked by a coyote. There was just too much damage to his lungs, and most likely brain injury from being shaken. He had wounds that they hadn't even attended to yet, as he never stabilized.
:sad::sad:

I saw your post on FB Stacey, I'm really sorry for your loss....

Thank you.....we picked Ash up yesterday and had a burial here near the house. It's amazing how much our little friends get into our hearts. It will be a while before I get over this. It's been a lousy year so far.
Everyone at the vet's office was really great. I don't know how they do it....I couldn't stand to deal with helpless animals being in pain or injured. Made me wonder how you handle it, Virgil??

Stacey, so sorry about your pet. I know it is rough and hard to get over, but you will in time.

It was hard for us to put down Molly after 16 years, but now we have Clover which makes life so much better.

Hopefully you will get a "Clover" in your life to help ease the pain of losing Ash.

We still have the Queensland Heeler, Deuce....and Jordan has Bo and Bella, but they're all big dogs. Ash was my little cuddle-buddy. I won't be getting another one. Unless I'm a little old lady, all alone. Maybe then. But I sure don't see it any time soon.

Today IS a little more manageable. I'm able to talk about him without sobbing, anyway. I just get flashbacks about seeing him on the road, and watching him try to draw a breath. But yes, each day will get better. Thanks.
