Sharon did it!!!

Today she ran and completed the Space Coast Marathon in 5 hours 30 minutes.

She vowed several years ago that she would never run one. Now she can say that she is a marathoner.

I'm really proud of her for putting in all the early morning training, all the miles, and suffering through the event.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We have much to be thankful for. It's just us this year so I'm missing family. We have way too much food for just the 4 of us so we'll all be overstuffed this afternoon. Will be watching the Saints/Dallas game this afternoon.

Hi Ang - we were stuffed (along with the bird). Sam roasted a 21 pound bird on the grill for 3 people....Can you say turkey sandwiches....which by the way I love and never tire of.

Happy Thanksgiving all! Much to be thankful for.

1st college tour with Mike - University of North Texas for Jazz Studies - lots of gray hairs & deep breathing on my part, he's decided to follow music instead of Engineering/Marine Biology. I'm thankful he has the courage & the commitment to follow his passion. Must consider back up schools - OM, tour through Ohio coming this summer.

Happy belated Thanksgiving.

Sharon and I are at the Gaylord Palms celebrating our 25th anniversary. Gaylord is beautifully decorated for Christmas and Ice. Today is our spa day and then big dinner at V&A. Sharon deserves to be treated well for putting up with me for 25 years. And her family thought it would never last.

For her big gift I did a repeat. She enjoyed it so much the first time that I thought I would do it again.....a beautiful set of tires!!! Gymnastics takes a heavy toll on our family and cars.

Lisa is with Matt in Minnesota. She is doing a quick weekend trip and they have lots planned. Black Friday at Mall of America is on the list.

Happy Anniversary Sharon and Jim. congratulations....

And Gaylord Palms as well...You'll need to explain to Sam that it is a fun trip...

Lets see - after many a windy days, the wind blessedly died down and it was 1-3 (more like 1-2). Temp was 77 (water temp) not sure about the air.

I also got a present, a new skin - made out of a fancy material that is supposed to keep you as warm as a 2 mil without adding bouyancy. I was chilly but with my new skin and my undersuit, I was still fine with a 3 mil.

Oh, did you expect snow?

As for vis - nice - blue - pretty sharks, and the most unusual spotted cone jelly I saw on the surface interval. It was swimming as if it were a ray. Very cute little thing.

booked air fare and hotel had to get comfort inn outside DTD $40.00 a night, not bad

have dec. 2 - 4 check out on sunday fly home at 5:30 lots of time.

GaRRy - we will be at overlap a bit. Candlelight is the night of the 3rd. I'll check our reservations. do you still have our cell number?
