Il Mulino or Hoop Dee Doo for last night dinner

The BBQ is ribs. The chicken is fried. Both OK. Not outstanding.

Sangria is pretty good. Especially if you drink a lot of it. ;)

:lmao: Thank you! With a lot of sangria, not sure the food has to be anything better than ok. ;)

Again, thank you everyone.

I'm always in the minority saying I just didn't really like Il Mulino. The night DH and I dined there was so loud and crowded. There was a private event happening which added to the confusion. Our table location was terrible but the only other option given was a table down this hall to the bathrooms (wth?) Our table was in the aisle next to a large pillar and it was a long skinny table with us at each end. It was so loud and we were so far away we ended up not really being able to communicate during the meal. The food was fine, nothing special. For adult meals we much more enjoyed Cali Grill and Jiko.

On our last trip we finally tried HDDR and really had a good time. The food was surprisingly good but not gourmet by any means. We sat in tier one seating and were glad we did. We arrived early and had time to explore Fort Wilderness which was a nice experience. The show was good. We did HDDR on our last night, it was a Monday so it was eve emh at MK, we did the 6:15 show, took the boat to MK in time for HEA and emh. Really fun end to our trip.

I am a table snob and I would hate being pushed against a pillar. I am sorry that happened to you. :(

We have tier 1 reserved for HDDR! With DH's CM discount, it'll only cost $81.28. :woohoo: It wasn't on my radar until I saw he got 50% off select shows.

I hope you have fun at HDDR. And yes, for me having a good table location is important to the overall experience. If you are at all interested in horses you might enjoy walking through the horse barn at FW before the show.

I love Il Mulino (my favorite Italian restaurant at WDW by a long shot), but you already have a lot of signature meals. i would do HDDR because its totally different than all of your other meals and its just fun.

Both are awesome choices. Based on the rest of your meal plans, I think I would go with HDDR because it's different from everything else you have and it really is a great time. My DS and I go almost every trip and even knowing the schtick, it still fun every time. They play off the audience a lot so each show really is a little bit different and unpredictable.

We have tier 1 so hopefully that will insure us a good table.

Thats what I am thinking; we will have a good mix!

I agree with already having 3 signature meals and doing something different. Having said that, would you swap Il Mulino for Yachtsman Steakhouse?

Just wanted to thank everyone for the replies. I watched a YouTube video of HDDR and ended up canceling. Maybe next time. :)
