Il Mulino New York Trattoria Restaurant

I was checking out the menus on another site and I saw this restaurant listed at the Swan. I never noticed it before. Is it relatively new or did it replace something else? DH and I were looking for a new and different place to go during our September trip. The menu is Italian. I thought the prices looked reasonable also.

Has anyone been to this restaurant??? I would appreciate any information you are willing to share. Would it be necessary to dress up for dining in this location? Thanks in advance.

It is relatively new, and where Palio used to be. It is the same as the Il Mulino in NYC (and I think Vegas?). I haven't been there, and there have been mixed reviews posted here. If search is working do a search and you can see some people's opinions.
IMHO it is way overpriced for 'regular' Italian food that I could get around my house for a fraction of a price. I'd rather spend that kind of $ in a restaurant like Jiko or BlueZoo, but again MHO...
As far as dress, I think it's more 'business casual', along the lines of a Disney Signature restaurant.

I believe it opened in February.

We dined here in May and it was good...just good. This was a bit of a disappointment to us because for the reputation and the price (31.00 for veal parm...with no pasta) we expected to be WOWed and we weren't. We don't mind paying a lot for an excellent meal. We feel prices at YSH or Cal Grill are very fair, but we didn't feel Il Mulino was in that same category of excellence.

Kevin did a review of this meal on the podcast back on 6/12. You may want to check that out. As a side note, his experience and opinion seemed almost identical to mine.
