I've read a few posts where ladies mentioned a brunch reception after ceremony at Il Mulino. Just wondering how that worked since they aren't open normally at that time. Did you have to pay a lot extra for the venue site? Thanks!

Yes you can have a brunch/ lunch at Il Mulino. You have to contact S&D catering and they can set it up for you. There is a food and beverage min starting at $3500. You also have to be done by 1:30 so they can start setting up for dinner.

Whoa, I'm tossing that idea out. We won't even come close to $3500 lol!

Yeah I wasn't looking to spend anywhere near that much. We are looking into the Fresh Mediterranean Market. They are open for breakfast and lunch and offer a semi private room.

Nice choice! We almost had our reception there-it's a pretty restaurant & I love the windows :)

I'm confused. When I wrote to Just Marry they told me that there was a reception minimum of 5000. How is this different from your minimum of 3500?

Il Mulino is booked separately from just marry, they are a private restaurant. The $5000 is for a traditional reception in a ballroom or other non-restaurant hotel venue. That's how I taking it anyway.

Thank you. That makes more sense.
I should probably take a look at the rooms that there have available. :)

We are having our dinner at Il Mulino after our Vow renewal. We are having a private room with 12 people and since we are having our DP after at Epcot I was able to get them to reduce the minimum from $1500 to $1000. This is at 5:30 though so the restaurant is open.
