Has anyone tried this new italian restaurant yet?

I loved when Palio was there and will really miss them.

We dined there in May and weren't overly impressed. It wasn't horrible or anything, we both ate, but we werent "Wowed" either. For the prices and reputation we expected a lot more which I think led to our disappointment.

As a side note, Kevin did a review of this restaurant on the pod cast a while back(mid May to June maybe, if I remember right). You may want to listen to that. I found their experience similar to mine.

Did you dine there when Palio was there? How do you compare it?

I too would have thought this would have been a fantastic place based upon the write up that I had read and looking at their menu on their website. Now I wonder if we should bother going since you mentioned the prices were high.

Unfortunately, I can't remember exaclty when they dined there and reviewed it. I know it was after I had been there which was early May.


I did dine at Palio once and enjoyed it. I preferred the menu at Il Mulino over Palio's though.

And I do have to add I always feel if someone is interested in a restaurant they should try it because no matter where you ask about you will get good and bad reviews.

Since we are staying at the Swan I just have to give it a shot and then base my own review. We are an italian family so I guess we'll be the best judge right
