Ikea sales?

What kind of sales does Ikea have and how often? Any employees here with upcoming sales info? I would be buying furniture and accessories. I know they just finished up a kitchen sale.

Hi -

IKEA typically has 2 "annual" sales per year. One about the 4th of July and the other nearer to Christmas/New Years.

They "reset" their merchandise in August.

last year i got bedroom furniture on sale in july or august. they said it was their peak season (i guess dorm rooms and new homes/apts). they also put select items on sale each month in the family club section. i think the last email i got was outdoor stuff and the one before that some kitchen items. they also rarely will mail coupons, so sign up for the club and their catalog and you might get one.

finally check the as is section when there. most of the furniture is not in good condition but i have gotten a few great deals on accessories.
