II Options in Spain

Hello!

Does anyone have any information on the II options for Costa del Sol (Malaga) Spain? Our niece skates for Disney on Ice, and her show will be touring Europe for the next run (September through April). Although personally I would love to go to France, they are going to be there in December and January. If I am going to go visit her in Europe, I would prefer to go someplace with better weather. It looks like they will be in Malaga, Spain the end of March and that we also have II options in Malaga.

So, does anyone have any info? Or, is it too late to even think of trading there for March?

There are 2 Marriott's that are nice from what I have heard. This is what I am seeing with my 2br Starwood ski week. It's on the DVC list

Thank you. Actually, when I called MS, they did offer the Dona Lola resort for the dates I need. But, since it doesn't look as nice as the Marriott's and because I haven't done much research on the resorts yet, I declined it this time. I know it may be gone if I later change my mind, but I didn't want to be stuck with something we may not like.

So, does anyone have info on the various resorts there?

If you join TUG they have resort reviews. I just read the most recent review from a stay in 11/2007. Nice resort, but very small bedrooms. Small resort with very nice staff who seem like they all speak English. OOPs that was the other Macdonald resort, the Leila.

It seems the Lola has a charge for electricity, yikes! Nice pleasant staff, but I have a feeling it might let Americans who haven't travelled to Europe a lot down.

Reviews are what I am looking for. Also, I appreciate the link to the other thread, but I am wondering if I may have a better shot since I am looking to go in March - maybe that is a slower season??
