II Exchange ?

I'd say fair if you listed studios and 1 BR, poor at best if you only listed 1 BR units. Had you listed a full 13 months out, your chances would have been a fair amount higher but still not great for a 1 BR. And if it does happen, it might not be until a few months before. You need to make sure they know what days you can and cannot accept because saying Sunday June 7th is the same as saying Fri to Sunday as far as II is concerned. Your best bet is to find an owner at one of those resorts and do a private trade. It might cost you a few more points but you can guarantee the option and specify the view. Or likely better yet, rent your points and rent a week.

I'm not Dean, but try going to TUG (timeshare Users Group). It's easily accessible online.

Dean is correct, that you would have had a better chances requesting at 13 months out. Right now, the weeks are in the "home" resort preference period. At 8 months, left over weeks will be made available to non-home resort owners. So if a match happens, more then likely it will occur less then 7 months out.

You can go to Tug, redweek.com, vrbo, craigslist, myresortnetwork and many others. Personally, I like redweek, tug and craigslist.

Also, if you put in for the Westin, make sure you select both of the resorts. They are right next to each other.

If I had not already used up my 2009 weeks/points, I could worked out a direct exchange for you. But I am all booked up, execpt for some points I am saving for Atlantis for me.

I would concur with that list and maybe add DIS rent/trade within the rules of the board. I'm not personally aware of any HI boards where this would be applicable but it's hard for me to imagine there aren't some given the issues and numbers involved. I'm not sure if bidshares has private exchange listings or not. I think with TUG you have to be a member to access the exchange info unless that changed with their new classified listing procedures.
