Ignoring Violent Scenes

Sometimes I just think people don't care anymore. Is there too much violence on tv to the point where we just watch it in reality? Is it too hard to grab a license plate and call the police if you don't want to get involved?

Very sad. Makes me worry about us as a people. I'd like to think if I saw such a thing I'd do SOMETHING.
