Ignored?

Hi everyone. As you know, I'm rosesredrosered on VMK. Before closing, a group of DISers (names witheld) were in the Pirate's Lobby. Well, I said Hello! It's me Rose! And I got no answers. Now I know that sometimes we are looking at different screens, but these players were talking to others and seemed like they were ignoring me. I repeated myself time and time again, but got no response. They then left to close in a different room. I have closed with some of these people several times, and they have always been nice to me and have greeted me. The reason I am posting this is because I want to know if I have said or done anything wrong to hurtful to any of you. I would just like to know if there is a reason behind this ignoring.

That happens to me alot. I see a fellow dis, say hi and get no response after several attempts. I think ppl must talk in IM or watch other windows idk.

Rose, big hugs! I am so sorry. I was one that was there (but I crashed before close) and I'll tell you -- there were a few of us that were going crazy big time from the buried in treasure pirate quest. We had to repeat pirates (and you had to play it twice for the quest) because we were doing it honestly without the answers, had time limits to each question. I can tell you that my quest window was open, and my IMs open as well, while trying to get help for this quest. I am so sorry you felt ignored, because it was by far not our intention to make you feel that way. I know I speak for all that were there...I hope you understand and forgive us.

Rose, I know how you feel, there are Dis "clicks" out there for sure, but there are also a lot of nice ppl, I am parrot_princess and I hope to see you on VMK some time, and trust me I am always in the mood to talk

Thanks everyone so much! I see a lot of DISers on VMK, but I am kind of a shy person, so I don't know what to say. My friends list is full, but the majority of my friends (aka people who haven't been on for months) I rarely talk to. Thank you for making me feel so welcome! I am really thankful to have such nice friends here.

I saw you there also but was having major computer lag tonight - Just trying to type a couple words in the window took way too long - Shortly after that, I just gave up and logged off. If you see me again, feel free to say hi and join in. I think it was just a rough night for many people.

In the same vein, my girl was running my character through the Peter Pan ride most of today for me. She barely reads and ignores the talk on the screen so if I missed saying hi to anyone today, I apologize but I wasn't really there!

Yes, im with skip. I just think they're very busy. Maybe at work or afk.

Could have been so many things: afk, working on a quest, entering codes, didn't know you were talking to him/her, lag, even logging out (I discovered yesterday that my mule appears to still be in a room as much as ten minutes after I exit the game. Don't fret about it.
