Ignore List Help

I am trying to ignore a user with a ' at the end of their user name.
When I type their name into the box I get the following (named *'d out to protect the innocent):

The user '*****\'' was not found in the database. Please go back and correct this problem. You may want to check out the member list.

Is there a way to get around this?

Unfourtunatly, no.

I tried for quite a while to get that to work and it just doesn't recognize the" ' " at the end.

I just created a login with a ' at the end. I lucked across what I think is the solution. When you go to edit your Ignore list, there are two boxes in which you can enter a name. If you use the top box with a user name ending with a ' you get the exact error that you are seeing. However, if you use the bottom box to enter the user name and leave the top box empty, it seems to take it. Give that a try.

Anyone wishing to experiment can try the new name I registered which is Dummyname'
