Well my computer got hacked last night. It's in the shop, so I won't be on until Monday when I get to work. It was a "Personal Sec" maleware thing. B*ds. Wish me luck that they can fix it. Have a good weekend everyone!

Glad to see you were all having a wonderful time while I was gone, at my expense of course. Brought my computer in to be looked at on Saturday. Hopefully I'll hear something back in the next few days, so the only time I'll have access to a computer is during work hours.

The computer guy I brought it to seemed to be confident he could get rid of the spyware/maleware, but we'll see.

All that being said, what the heck is with the armadillos? I get the feeling that one is going right over my head.

Oh, and I'm glad you all like me (at least when you think I'm reading what you're saying).

I wish I would have had a couple of armadillos last night so I could have thrown them at the movie theater at certain people.

My husband and I specifically picked a late night showing on a Sunday night to go see Avatar again (loved it the first time, wanted to see it in quiet a second time). Three, yes, three idiot sets of parents brought their small children. I won't even get into the fact that this is not an appropriate movie for young children but WTH are they doing taking them to a movie at 10pm on a Sunday night?????? Of course the kids were cranky and tired and noisy.

And the kicker, one of the parents tried to steal the 3-d glasses and got caught leaving the theater, yeah, nice example DAD.

Oh, and since I forgot to mention it earlier -- NO HAIRSPRAY WAS USED IN THE HARMING OF MY COMPUTER. But if I ever find out who did it, I'd bring a big old can of Aquanet and a Bic lighter to that party.

Another update for everyone (like you care ):

DD got her acceptance letter over the weekend for the English and Social Studies Honors Program at the local public school. We're still waiting to hear about the Science and Math Honors. Apparently they are two different departments, so they require two separate letters. Nothing like taxpayers dollars at work. I'd be happy even if she didn't get into Honors Math and Science. It's going to be a HUGE emotional and social adjustment for her. Not sure 4 honors classes, plus a language is a great idea, but we'll see how it all pans out.

For anyone who said a little prayer or sent good wishes our way, thank you, thank you, thank you.

She's still not happy about not going to school with her friends, but she's coming to the realization that this is her reality, so she needs to suck it up and get used to the idea. Hey, sometimes life's tough -- gotta learn to roll with the punches. Better now than later.

BTW, you don't think DD told me you messaged me on Facebook, right? When I logged on today I saw that you had spoken to her. Drives me nuts when she uses those internet/text messaging spellings. It really annoys me when they dumb themselves down to fit in.

Had to share. Just finished reading the Craig Ferguson book. Loved, loved, loved it and love Craig Ferguson too. Anyway, there was a sentence in the book that had me howling. He mentions having to pick stuff out of his dog's bahookie! Yep, right there in writing he said "bahookie". I knew I loved that man for a reason.
