The Jonas Brothers (although DD never really liked them) and Justin Bieber (OMG the girls go nuts for him -- think a young Donnie Osmond or David Cassidy). Honestly, DD doesn't crush much on the stars the way her friends do, or the way I did. She's much more reality based.

Oh, I almost forgot: Taylor Lautner and Rob Pattinson (from Twilight).

Oh darn, I was hoping I wouldn't see Rob Pattinson's name on the list. To me, he's so ugly and the most wrong Edward that could possibly have been picked. Although I'm Team Edward from the books, I'd have to go Team Jacob from the movies, LOL. My daughter in law works in the film industry and has all of the real movie posters from the 2 films; I've thought about asking her for one.

I will have to google Justin Bieber. I have no idea who that is.

My daughter is a HUGE Taylor Lautner fan. I don't see the appeal of Rob Pattinson either, although I did find him cute in the HP movie.

Justin Bieber is a short, 16 year old Canadian kid. He got his start by posting videos of himself online on You Tube, got a name for himself and one of the big rappers (Jay Z? maybe) signed him to a record deal. The kid's manager recently went to jail. The police are charging him for not Tweeting quick enough when one of those mall appearances got way out of control in NY. I don't mean to laugh at the commotion, but charging some for not Tweeting? I actually like a few of his songs, but I don't see a long lasting career. I've been wrong before. I didn't think Madonna had any talent when she came out.

At the risk of getting all mushy, I actually missed all my ignorami pals while I was doing such a good job of ignoring you the past ten days.

DH hasn't been doing as well lately. It's been a really rough couple of weeks examining options and deciding whether to stay in our home or move. So glad you're all still here to make me smile...

Now I'll toddle off down to the BB and ignore you all again for a bit. I know I'm gonna regret this but I need some advice and figure that's the place to ask...

As for school girl crushes, late elementary and junior high was the New Kids on the Block. In high school, I had a boyfriend (my DH) and didn't really have a crush. If anything, I was really into Pearl Jam and thought Eddie Veder was pretty awesome.

LOL, I missed the frankenhands. Gotta read back when I'm done encouraging migraines...

Stitches have been removed. DH is about to drive for the first time since his surgery to take DD10 back to the pet store. The new obsession for the 2 of them is salt water fish. DH will go back to the doctor on April 20, then if they can find light duty for him, he can return to work. He'll ease back to full duty after 6 weeks.

I am beloved by the toileting world in my house. That's about it.

DanceMom -- sorry things have been rough lately. Hugs and prayers being sent your way. I love the DIS because, like Pakey said, it's a great distraction from life. And I hate to admit, I actually learn a thing or two.

AlphaMom -- So when are you leaving? And my DD hasn't had any huge crushes yet and she's 14. I had my room plastered from floor to ceiling with posters when I was her age and even younger. I think she crushes on a few of the boys in school, but seems very content to crush from afar. No boyfriends yet and I'm happy.

Scotlass -- first thought you said "Cheryl Crow". Was a little concerned that the lad was a little out of his league (and age range). Cheryl Cole is quite the hottie -- your son has very good taste.
