We've never had a collie, but while I was a baby in England, my parents got a Shetland Sheepdog, similar to collies but much smaller. They brought him over to the states when we moved. He used to herd me.

We had an Australian shepherd for a family pet before the Cresteds; he herded us too. But he was not nearly as aggressive with the herding as our guide dog collie who shared an office with us for 3 years here. We had other guide dogs here, mostly goldens or labs, but that collie was special, and odd. I still carry a picture of him in my wallet. Funny guy. BTW, he failed as a guide dog and became the pet of his raiser which is why we had him in here for 3 years.

Not enough to post pics of, but it so pretty as it is falling. We've had quite a bit of sleet and the kids are playing with the ice.

She was farming on facebook earlier, at least I think I saw some posts from her. I know with her computer problems she can only get on at work. Maybe she's trying to get that other 2.5% for her next review.

Well -- we have some too, about an inch so far. It's very pretty and I want to go out and play in it. Somehow, my boss thought I was kidding when I asked him if we could.

As long as we all get home safely and don't have to slip and slide in the morning, I'm okay with your snow you sent me.

I just don't want as much as Dancemom had in her pictures. Brrrrr!!!!

Maybe they will shut down the schools (they do that here in Texas when it barely dusts the ground!) and I get the day off of work tomorrow.

I had to walk down our extra long driveway (about 200+ feet) with large snowflakes swirling around me to check the mail. I loved it!

Hope you can make it home safely. Most Texas drivers cannot drive on slushy streets. DH can, I cannot, which is why I stay home.
