IFWF Crowd Nightmares.

We were there this past Saturday and today. As I said above, we have been on Saturdays before, but lastcSaturday was the most crowded I have ever seen it early in the day. It was wall to wall people even very early in the day. Today was wonderful. Lines at the booths were short.

Tims videos are GREAT! That was opening day, and a very busy one. He went back just the other day and posted another vlog and the crowds were MUCH lighter and the lines were almost non-existent for many of the booths. Then he went back again 2 days ago and posted another vlog and it was very crowded. The weekends are more crowded - I plan on staying away on the weekends.

We will be there 2 weeks from today (Tuesday) so I guess we'll see. Unfortunately its an EMH day which we try to avoid couldn't find a way around that this trip. I'll have to check out Tim's new video. I'm not one to watch youtube regularly. Don't have anyone I follow, etc. But I specifically will search out his videos. Just so much fun to watch!

Our plan also for F&W, weekdays!:thumbsup2 Crossing fingers for less crowds!:wizard:::yes::

We were there again today. Crowds were not bad at all. Test Track single rider was walk on in the late morning. We waited longer with our FP+ than we did in single rider. Lines at the food and wine booths were short all day until a little after 7. It got pretty crowded in WS about 7:30. We thought it was a great EPCOT day- would have been perfect if it was cloudy like yesterday to keep the temps down a few degrees.

I can tell you I went to EPCOT on a Saturday last year during F&W and it was so busy in World Showcase. It was awful. I didn't want to go on a Saturday, but I had no choice. Was supposed to meet up with friends that live in Florida, but they ended up not meeting us anyway.... :-/ So, definitely don't go on a Saturday.
This year, I'm nervous because I'll be at Epcot on the last day of F&W, and it's a non recommended park day, but I do not have park hoppers, so out of 7 of my park days, 2 will be non recommended days, and 5 will be going to the recommended park. I just really hope that it won't any worse than last year.

We went the first night last year and there were no lines at any of the booths, we just walked right up and got what ever we wanted. It was pouring out, we were soaked and had a great time. I would go on a rainy day again.

Tim Tracker puts up daily videos and I pretty much see all of them,I met him at Halloween Horror Nights this weekend, its kinda weird to know so much about someone you just met.Another good daily youtube blogger is View from the Cheap seats,he's actually friends with Tim and its how I found their videos,I also met them at the Spring Dapper Days at MK,these are all good guys who love the parks and they usually visit all the current events at the parks so it lets you keep up with what's happening, for example Tim Tracker just put a Morimoto Asia video which was cool as I can't wait to try eating there. As far as crowds at F&W,I was there Saturday and Monday and everything people say about the weekends is correct,it looked like every food booth was 30-45 minute waits,Monday was calm during the day and even though it did get much more busier at night it was still tolerable.

We went to the F&W Festival for the "CM Soft Opening", opening day and the saturday after opening day and it didn't seem anymore busy than our past years going. We were there from 11:00 AM to around 4 PM and again from 6 PM to close on soft opening day and opening day. On that Saturday we were there from 11 AM until 2 PM before we had to return to our resort to hop on the ME to head home.

It seemed to us that it was a typical weekend. Longer lines than during the weekdays but nothing out of the norm.

We had the same experience. Soarin' had a wait of 20 minutes at 7:30. FP line was longer. World showcase was busy as we were leaving (just before 7:30) but definitely manageable.

I was there last year around the 3rd week of October, weekdays/nights were not bad. Satuday and Sunday were mobbed (wasn't there Friday).
