Has anyone tried the indoor skydiving at iFly at Citiwalk? We're looking for something to do on our last day before heading to the airport, and this looks like it could be fun! Can anyone tell me how long a "session" lasts?
Thanks!

You do know that it is at Citywalk in Hollywood California, right?

It's on I-Drive. Maybe post in the Orlando Hotels and Attractions board to get more responses? I had friends who did it years and years ago and enjoyed it. Not sure how it is nowadays.

We do the one on I Drive in Orlando twice every year. It is our son's favorite Orlando attraction. My wife and I used to do it but now we just enjoy watching our son. It is a lot of fun. I highly recommend it.

Our son did it about 7/8 years ago, but it was a decent place and he enjoyed it a lot.

How long does a session last?

Go to their website, https://www.iflyworld.com/orlando/ for session lengths and prices. They have everything from 2 minute sessions to renting the tunnel for an hour. 2 minutes doesn't sound long but it is a great experience. Now that our son has been doing this for years we rent the tunnel just for him for 30 minutes and he works with an instructor on tricks and different ways to fly, i.e. belly fly, back fly, sit fly, etc. He would rather spend a day here than at any park. I don't know how he stays in the tunnel for so long. When I used to fly, a few minutes was plenty, but he goes for 30 minutes and comes out exhausted but smiling from ear to ear.

My kids did the introduction at the the iFly in Houston. Each kid got two 2 minute flying sessions. They also watched all of the other people in their group fly. I would say that including the required safety and information class that it took about 90 minutes. I could totally be misremembering though.

I didn't see any time lengths listed. The closest I could find was this-

"The iFLY experience lasts approximately an hour and 45 minutes in total. This will cover your check-in time, the training session, your flight time, and time after your flight to remove gear and look at photos and video if interested. Save time bycompleting your waiver ahead of time"

It's hard to tell from this how long you actually get to have "air time".

Click on "Packages and Pricing" and it will show different packages with different number of "flights". Since we rent the tunnel for 30 minutes we have a set time limit, but a "flight" is either 1 minute or a minute and a half. When we first did it about 10 years ago each flight segment was 1 minute. Like I mentioned previously 2 minutes may not sound like much but it is a lot of fun and it seems longer than it really is. I copied and pasted below the packages.upload_2017-3-16_16-26-6.png Hopefullupload_2017-3-16_16-26-6.png

Thanks. That's a lot of money for a minute or two though. :sad2:
